Antra-Dasha of Rahu, Jupiter, Mercury and Saturn

1. The sub-period of Rahu in the major period of Rahu will generally give financial loss, enmity, disease like indigestion, consumption, profitless journey or professional transfer to undesirable places, affliction to wife and children.

2. If Rahu is combined with Ascendant Lord with benefic influence the native is likely to tour or travel to different places on professional duty or private business, pleasure or pilgrim trip.

3. If Rahu is posited in Taurus, Cancer or Virgo with benefic aspect or association, he will promote name and fame, royal or official favour, service in Military or Police Department, acquisition of wealth through foreign service or trades, travel towards West or South-west where the native will enjoy vehicular conveniences.

4. If Rahu is aspected by malefic, he may cause trouble or danger to father.

5.When Rahu is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic influence, occupying debilitated rasi or amsa, he will cause profitless and tedious journeys, financial strain, fear of theft, imprisonment, enmity, dishonour, death of father, mother, children, or livestocks, trouble from one’s own kith and kin, etc.

6. If Rahu is in 2nd or 7th house strongly influenced by malefics, the native may apprehend premature death, and may have danger from reptiles.

Dasha Rahu – Jupiter

1. If Jupiter is in an angle, trine or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign or amsa, the natire will enjoy the effects of Raja yoga. He will have faith in religion, charitable disposition, company of pious souls, courage in resisting evil, purchase of cows, vehicles, ornaments, journeys toward South or South-western direction where he may enter Government service or enjoy official favour, delicious meals, etc.

2. If Jupiter is debilitated or combust occupying 6th, 8th, or 12th house with malefic aspect or association, temptation to commit sin, affliction to wife and children, chest pain, exile are the likely results.

3. If Jupiter is placed in an angle, trine, 11th or 2nd from Dasanatha, he will promote health, wealth, happiness, purchase of lands, house, birth of famous sons, cordial relationship with friends and relatives, etc.

4. When Jupiter occupies 6th, 8th or 12th house from Dasanatha, he will produce financial loss, official displeasure, trouble form secret enemies, misunderstanding with one and all, professional transfer to undesirable places, disease arising out of indigestion are the likely results during the first half of the bhukti followed by some good results during the second half.

5. If Jupiter is placed in 2nd or 7th houses influenced by inflicting planets, the native may have premature death.

Dasha Rahu – Saturn

1. (i) If Saturn is posited in an angle, trine, 3rd or 11th house, occupying own or exalted sign, he may cause at first some malefic effects like disease and disputes, followed by gratifying events like fame and fortune through hard and sustained work, power and authority either as official or elected head in rural parts.

(ii) The native will have a large number of servants, commanding vehicular facilities. He may gain through black articles like iron, grains or animals/buffaloes, travel towards West or South-west, service under alien masters like Christians, etc.

(iii) The native may have a liking to have intercourse with widows, elderly or low-caste women. There may be celebration of happy and auspicious functions at home, birth of children and digging of wells either for agricultural operation or charity.

2. If Saturn is placed in 6th, 8th, 12th in debilitated or inimical sign, he may produce trouble through rude and uncivilized people, servants or tenants, ill-health, misunderstanding with near and dear ones, death of maternal or paternal relatives, fear of arrest or criminal prosecution, financial worries.

3. When Saturn is posited in an angle, trine or 11th from Dasanatha with benefic aspect or association, he may produce official favour, monetary gains followed by enmity with Government officials, affliction to wife, children etc.

4. If Saturn has malefic ownership occupying 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanatha, the native will suffer from chest pain, danger from snakes, fire, loss of profession or reputation, poverty etc.

5. When Saturn is in 2nd or 7th house with malefic aspect or conjunction, the native may have premature death.

Dasha Rahu – Mercury

1. If Mercury is in an angle, trine or 11th house, the native will shine as a poet, author, orator, lawyer, mathematician, ambassador, traveling salesman or business magnate, etc. He will get married or have sexual union with the woman of his heart, enjoying musical or dramatic entertainments like cinema, dancing, etc. He may also amass large fortune through trade or commerce.

2. When Mercury is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th with aspect of Saturn or any other malefic, he will produce disgrace, trouble through his own words, loss through gambling or fraud or fluctuation of pieces, etc.

3. If Mercury is placed in an angle or trine from Dasanatha, he promotes educational or academical success, purchase of ornaments or houses of latest fashion, performance of charity, name and fame.

4. If Mercury is in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanatha, failure in examination, loss through theft, fire, disputes, and quarrels, hatred of relatives are the likely results.

5. If Mercury occupies 2nd or 7th house with strong Maraka dosha, he may produce disease which may prove to be fatal.

Dasha Rahu - Ketu

1. Ketu bhukti will generally produce mental disorder like hysteria, treason, epidemic, trouble from evil spirits, poison, affliction to wife and children. If he is an ascendant, he may cause enmity; danger from poisonous creatures if in the 2nd house; suffering to brother and digestive disorder in the 3rd house, affliction to father in the 9th, trouble to mother in the 4th house, accidents in the 7th house.

2. If Ketu is posited in an angle or trine combined with their lords with benefic aspects, he will give marriage, official favour, gain through mean profession or low-caste people, widows or maternal grand-parents, expansion of trade and commercial projects, transfer or journeys towards North – West.

3. If he is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th with malefic influence occupying Scorpio, Cancer, Leo mental worries, disputes through ladies, misunderstanding with brothers, danger from thieves, fire weapons, death of livestocks, grand parents, imprisonment, female disease, leprosy, poverty may be the likely results.

4. When Ketu is placed in an angle or trine from Dasanatha, little happiness, meager gain through agriculture, livestocks followed by heavy expenditure at the end of the bhukti (sub-period).

5. If Ketu is strongly influenced by death-afflicting planets, the native may have danger from poison, disease of the head or ear or even premature death.

Dasha Rahu - Venus

1. When Venus is placed in an angle, trine or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign with benefic influence, the native will enjoy the effects of Raja yoga like marriage or sexual union with beautiful ladies, construction of new-fashioned houses, purchase of vehicles, lands, ornaments, costly gems, gain through contract, banking, over-seas trade, birth of children, lucky daughters, promotion in service, etc.

2. If Venus is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic aspect or association, she may cause disease or death of wife, children, enmity with friends and relatives, venereal complaints, urinary diseases, loss through house transactions, bad name, death of livestocks, want of cloth and ornaments.

3. If Venus is in an angle, trine or 11th house from Dasanatha, the native will enjoy life with guests, like sexual pleasure, luxurious bedding, sweet scents, flowers, fashionable dress, hearing of religious discourses, moving with the nobility and gentry.

If Venus is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanatha with malefic influence, she will cause trouble through ladies, sons and daughters or wife-side relatives, loss through livestocks, mortgage or sale of property on account of pressure from creditors, or court action, etc.

4. When Venus is strongly influenced by `Maraka’ planets, danger to life is indicated.

Dasha Rahu – Sun

1. When the Sun is posited in an angle, trine or 11th house both with reference to Lagna and Dasanatha, occupying own or exalted sign, the native will attain name and fame, income through travel, trade or Government service, mixed with some sort of mental or physical ailment, both to the native and his sons.

2. If the Sun is joined with the lords of Lagna and 9th house and aspected by Jupiter and Moon, the native will become a high-placed Government official with keen intellect or a business magnate ever basking in official favour.

3. If the Sun occupies 6th, 8th or 2th both from Lagna and Dasanatha, he may cause diseases due to extreme heat like purging, etc., trouble from Government, enemies, tedeious and profitless journey, etc.

4. If the Sun is placed in 2nd or 7th house with malefic aspect or association of Saturn, Mars or other death-inflicting planets, he may produce heavy expenditure and even fatal disease.

Dasha Rahu - Moon

1. Rahu is an enemy of the Moon, and thus may generally produce financial loss through relatives, thieves, ill-health to mother, mental restlessness, pain of limb, probability of a voyage to a foreign country followed by acquisition of property, change of residence, purchase of live-stocks, etc.

2. If the Moon is full occupying an angle, trine, 11th house or own or exalted sign, she promotes prosperity, domestic happiness, delicious meals, fulfillment of desires, birth of children, celebration of marriage or other auspicious functions, purchase of ornaments, dress, success in speculation, professional advancement, etc.

3. If the Moon is waning and occupying 6th, 8th or 12th with malefic ownership, sudden and unexpected loss through speculation or fraud, poverty, theft, disrespect from relatives, domestic disharmony, failure of crops, scarcity of milk, curd, ghee, cold diseases, etc., are the likely results.

4. If the Moon is posited in an angle, trine or 11th house from Dasanatha, propitiation of Gods and Brahmins, pilgrimage and holy baths, digging of wells, etc. indicated.

5. If the Moon is in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanatha, likely results are hysteria or such other troubles from devils, jaundice, danger from drowning, accidents through travel, skin diseases like itches, etc.

6. If the Moon is influenced by death-inflicting planets, there may be premature death.

Dasha Rahu – Mars

1. When Mars is posited in an angle, trine or 11th house with benefic aspects and conjunctions, the native will be fired with a daring spirit of adventure, organizing and engineering skill, he will have helping friends and brothers, enjoying health, wealth and happiness, success in litigation, birth of brothers, etc.

2. If Mars is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic ownership, he may cause high fever, intestinal troubles, burns and cuts, disputes, misunderstanding with brothers, accidents during journey or play, enmity, operation, death by drowning or military action at the beginning of the bhukti followed by some good effects like happy and auspicious functions, name and fame in sports or games.

3. In the above rule an important astrological truth has been indicated that malefics when placed in malefic houses like 6th, 8th or 12th, will become powerless to do much harm. On the other hand, they facilitate benefic planets to do some good. This may account for some good results stated in the above para.

4. If Mars is placed in an angle, trine, 11th house in Scorpio, he will promote slightly good effects, official favour, purchase of lands, gain through red grains, articles, journey, etc.

5. If he is posited in 6th, 8th, 12th from Dasanatha combined with debilitated or malefic planets, he may produce disease or death of wife, children, brothers, fear of imprisonment, loss or mortgage of landed property, theft, danger from animals, etc.

6. When Mars is strongly influenced by `Maraka’ planets, he may cause danger to life.

DASHA OF JUPITER-JUPITER

1. (i) When Jupiter is well placed, the results though favourable, will be mild, like visit to holy shrines and sacred baths, building of lofty towers, digging of wells, founding of charitable institutions, noble associations.

(ii) The native will rise from humble beginning slowly but steadily to great fortunes which will be lasting for generations. He will possess horses, elephants, cows or other vehicular conveniences.

2. If Jupiter is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th house occupying debilitated sign with aspect and conjunction in addition to ownership of 4th, 7th or 10th house, the native will be subjected to untold suffering, mental anguish, disease, quarrel with `Dayadins’, bereavement like death of great grand-father or eldest member of the family, neglect of religious duties, financial difficulties, worried meals, etc. In, in the above position, Jupiter is defeated in `Graha-yuddha’, the native will die in foreign countries.

3. If Jupiter is placed in the 2nd or 7th houses or otherwise influenced by death-dealing planets, he will cause diseases like dropsy and diabetes.

Dasha Jupiter - Saturn

1. (i) Saturn occupying an angle, trine, 3rd or 11th house in exalted, own or friendly sign with benefic aspect orconjunction with produce leadership among mobs, labourers, religious head for low-caste people, propitiating `Kshudra devathas’ for attaining Siddhi in occult sciences like black magic, alchemy, rejuvenation, etc.

(ii) The native may engage himself in social service like uplift of depressed classes, reclamation of criminal tribes, abolition of slavery, etc. Acquisition of lands, wealth, house, etc. (may be through unscrupulous means). Servants, livestocks like buffaloes and mules may also take place.

(iii) If the benefic influence of Mercury combines, the native may go for foreign studies or at least learn a foreign language, gain through trade or travel in the direction of West, South-West or North-East.

(iv) If the benefic influence of Mars combines, the native will become mill-owner or head of a factory. If the benefic influence of Sun combines, the native may enter Government service in the departments connected with Police, Agriculture Forest, Excise or Prisons, Labour, etc.

2. If the benefic influence of Rahu or Ketu combines the native will become something like iron merchant, or head of a firm engaged in the manufacture of shoes, blankets, etc. The native will however suffer from malefic results for 5 months like misunderstanding with relatives, heavy expenditure, tedious work.

3. Saturn posited in 6th, 8th or 12th both from Ragna and Dasanatha with malefic influence, will cause enmity, trouble from rowdies, failure of crops, indebtedness, simprisonment, loss of reputation, intercourse with maid servant, scavengers, diseased or maimed women, fear of murder, theft, shift or transfer, cruelty, etc. are the likely results.

4. If Saturn is placed in the 2nd or 7th house or otherwise influenced by death-inflicting planets, he may cause diseases pertaining to nerves, muscle or wrist specially in cold season.

Dasha Jupiter - Mercury

1. (i) If Mercury is strongly placed in an angle, trine with benefic aspect or conjunctions, the native will be well-versed in scriptures, arts and sciences with a bright and brisk personality, tactful behaviour, sense of humour, presence of mind, gift of the God, always striving for high ideas.

(ii) He may be a business magnete thriving well in the direction of West or North-West or enter service as accountant, auditor or clerk in the Judicial, Income-tax, Postal, Railway or Revenue Department.

(iii) Green grains and articles as well as bell-metal are some of the lines which will bring fortune to merchants.

2. If aspected by Dasanatha, Mercury produces religious trend, taste for astrology, Manra Siddhi in preparing spells and charms, contribution for charitable cause, etc.

3. When Mercury is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th with malefic aspect or conjunction like Mars, he may cause heavy loss through gambling, indebtedness, dishonour, charges of trust or defalcation, defamation, etc.

4. If Mercury is placed in an angle or trine from Dasanatha, the native may learn a new language, purchase of golden ornaments, vehicles, help from maternal uncle or other relatives, happiness to parents, holy baths, devotion to God Vishnu, gain through share speculation or prices, fortune in his own native land.

5. If Mercury is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanatha occupying debilitated sign, failure in examination, de-promotion in service, loss through travel, theft are likely to happen.

6. If Mercury is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, the native may apprehend danger to life through diseases like indigestion, colic, diarrhea etc. The above evil effects may be mitigated by propitiating God Vishnu or the planet Mercury.

Dasha Jupiter - Ketu

1. It Ketu is posited in an angle or trine he promotes little happiness, gain through undesirable means, purchase of rare and valuable articles.

2. If he is placed in 3rd or 11th house with benefic aspect or conjunction, devotion to God Siva, Ganesha, Chandee, or other Ugra Devathas, bath in the Ganges, spirit of renunciation, acquisition of wealth, fast life, knowledge of witchcraft, possession of live-stocks like cows, dogs, etc., Sexual enjoyment with widows, royal favour, service as doctor, etc., are the likely results.

3. If Ketu occupies 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic influence, he is likely to cause trouble from widows, shift or transfer, misunderstanding with grand parents, death of brother, dishonour, residence in foreign places, poverty, stupidity, inconstancy, bodily ailments of eye, head or diseases like consumption, leprosy, small-pox, hysteria, danger from snakes and reptiles etc.

4. If Ketu is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, premature death is likely.

Dasha Jupiter - Venus

1. Venus in an angle or trine occupying own or exalted sign will bestow on the native the blessings of Ashta Lakshmi, namely, chaste and beautiful wife, children, ornaments, dress, house, enjoyment of music performance, dramatic and cinema entertainments, sweet scents, flowers, fruits, garlands, sandal paste, gain through oversea trade, banking, contract, travel towards West or other happy functions, gain through dowry, or help from father-in-law or ladies, etc.

2. If Venus is placed in the 6th, 8th or 12th occupying debilitated sign with malefic influence, delay in marriage, disease, danger or death of wife, daughters, children, disputes and quarrels with wife-side relations, female diseases or the trouble of the lung like pleurisy, sale of house or property owing to pressure from creditors, loss through theft or litigation, death of livestocks, residence in foreign places, poverty, are the likely results.

3. If Venus is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, she is likely to cause premature death through veneral complaints, diabetes, etc.

Dasha Jupiter - Sun

1. When the Sun is posited in an angle or trine occupying own or exalted sign with benefic aspect or association, he will confer proficiency in court language, Government service, marriage, fame and fortune specially in the East direction contact with aristocratic people, company of pious souls, prosperity through father, success in undertaking through favour of Government officials, etc., mixed with malefic results like diseases of the head arising through extreme ehat.

2. If he is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th with malefic influence occupying debilitated sign in rasi or amsa, the native will have to face the opposition of the rich and influential people, loss through Government action, litigation, damage or danger from arson, affliction to father or personal relations, high fever, shift or transfer, sinful acts, dishonour, etc.

3. If the Sun is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets he may cause danger to life.

Dasha Jupiter - Moon

1. When the Moon is waxing, posited in an angle, or trine occupying own or exalted sign with benefic aspect or conjunctions, he will produce health, wealth and happiness, marriage, birth of children, good harvest, digging of wells, wide knowledge, holy baths, devotions to Goddess Gowri, sea voyage or travel to distant countries, help from maternal relations, attending parties and functions, plenty of curd, milk, ghee, gain through livestocks like cows, acquisition of lands, under-ground treasure, success in speculation, good earning through profession and other good results.

2. If the Moon is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house both from Lagna and Dasanatha with malefic influence, she will cause heavy loss through miscalculation or failure of business, enmity, affliction to mother, children, official displeasure, diseases like typhoid, catarah, jaundice, inflammation of the nose and also trouble from numerous female diseases.

3. If the Moon is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, the native may have danger to life.

Dasha Jupiter - Mars

1. When Mars is placed in an angle, trine occupying own or exalted sign, he will produce little gain, heavy expenditure during the first half of the bhukti followed by acquisition of lands, house, help from brothers, gain through military or in a workshop, travel towards South, success over enemies, bumper harvest, athletic fame and delicious meals, especially heat producing dishes.

2. If he is in 6th, 8th or 12th combined or aspected by the lord of the 9th house, the native may enjoy glowing health, rulership over towns and villages, followed by heavy and unavoidable expenditure.

3. If, in the above position, Mars is debilitated or combust with malefic aspect or association, he will produce diseases like boils, wounds, loss through theft or litigation, arson, intercourse with other women with consequent bad name, urinary diseases, neglect of one’s family duties (Dharma), accidents during travel or in the war-field etc.

4. When Mars is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, he will cause dangerous diseases.

DASHA OR JUPITER-RAHU

1. If Rahu is posited in an angle or trine with malefic planets, he will cause disputes and quarrels, misunderstandings with friends and relatives, sorrow through wife, etc.

2. If he is placed with benefic planets in the above position, he will make the native an elected or official head over towns and villages, acquisition of land, friendship of new and rich people, gain through business or travel towards South or South-west, knowledge of foreign language etc., celebration of happy and auspicious functions at home, military service or leadership, pilgrimate, holy baths in Ganges, Rameswaram, etc.

3. If he is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th, he will produce trouble from Government or from one’s superiors, danger from thieves, devils, mental worries.

4. If he is in an angle or trine from Dasanatha with benefic and malefic aspects, he may cause trouble to the native, disgrace, journey or transfer to inconvenient places, followed by happy results at the end of the bhukti.

5. If he is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanatha, he will produce very bad results, followed at the end of the bhukti with slightly good effects.

6. If Rahu is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, he may cause diseases like epilepsy, small pox, leprosy and want of appetite, inclination for suicide, on account of mental imbalance etc.

DASHA OF SATURN-SATURN

1. The sub-period of Saturn in his own major period will generally cause domestic disharmony, ill-health, enmity mixed with good results like acquisition of lands, servants, cattle like buffaloes, goats, dogs, mules. One may try to secure a high appointment not necessarily by merit, but through back-door influence like bribery, etc. He may gain through iron or oil trade, fuel business, road contract, in fact, all works involving hard work.

2. If Saturn is placed in an angle, trine, 3rd or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign, he may cause large income, Government service or favour of the ruling class, gain or ornaments set with blue stones, weapons, success over enemies, travel towards west, visit of friends and relatives in connection with happy functions, happiness of sons and daughters.

3. Saturn placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house occupying debilitated sign or is combust will cause disputes and quarrels with mischievous element, loss through theft, indebtedness, fear of murder, arson, poverty, shame, trouble through widows or low-class women, veneral complaints, loose moral, etc.

4. If posited in 2nd or 7th house strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, premature death is indicated.



DASHA SATURN-MERCURY

1. Mercury bhukti will generally produce commercial or trade gains through manipulating accounts, false advertisement, by cleverly cheating the customers. Students will try to smuggle question papers or pass examinations by occupying answers or such other illegal means.

2. (i) If Mercury is placed in an angle or trine occupying own, exalted sign or vargottama navamsa or retrograde with shadbala strength, he will promote fame and fortune, contact with educated persons, learning new languages, hearing religious or literary discourses, grace of God Vishnu, help from uncles or mother-side relations, sympathy with the poor, pilgrimage, bath in Rameswaram or other holy places, poor feeding.

(ii) The native may expand his business by opening new lines or by undertaking tour in new places, lawyers are likely to flourish well especially in criminal cases.

3. When Mercury is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th in debilitated sign, he may cause failure of business through fluctuation of prices, or in education, quarrel through tactless talk, dishonour, displeasure of educated people and other malefic results.

4. If posited in an angle or trine from Dasanatha, he will promote health, wealth and happiness, elevation to higher posts, followed by bodily ailment, blame and death of relatives at the end of the bhukti.

5. If in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanatha, little happiness in the beginning followed by gain of ornament, devotion to God and Guru at the end.

6. If in 2nd or 7th house with strong `Maraka Dosha’, he may cause serious danger to the native.

DASHA SATURN-KETU

1. The sub-period of Ketu will generally cause diseases arising from blood poisoning, itches, danger from serpents or other repetiles, domestic disharmony, etc.

2. If he is posited in an angle or trine with benefic aspect or association with more than the required number of bindus, he may cause happy and auspicious functions at home, gain through or other low people, fall of enemies, spirit of renunciation, interest in the attainment of spiritual salvation, sacred bath in the Ganges or other holy rivers, propitiation of the Goddess Chandee, God Siva, Ganesha. Doctors will have a good time during this sub-period.

3. If placed in 6th, 8th or 12th occupying debilitated sign with malefic association, trouble from robbers, fires, weapons poisonous creatures, loss of wealth, bad name through association with vile and wicked women, dog-bite, fear of arrest, or murder, suicide, trouble from witch-craft, indebtedness, sale of lands, etc.

4. Ketu in 2nd or 7th with death-inflicting influence may cause premature death.

DASHA SATURN-VENUS

1. When Venus is well placed in an angle or trine occupying own or exalted sign associated with the lords of the 9th or 11th house he will promote, exalted yoga for enormous income from banking, contract, house construction, sexual pleasure with beautiful ladies, gain through marriage, birth of lucky children, comfort and convenience, gain of fashionable ornaments and dress, enjoying sweet scents, flowers, drinks and narcotics, amorous disposition, attending musical entertainments etc.

2. If she is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th with malefic aspect or association, he will produce venereal complaints, kidnapping of ladies, loss through money lending, damage or destruction to house, cattle, death of wife and children, quarrel with father-in-law or other relations, pledging of jewels and other malefic results.

3. Venus in 2nd or 7th house with death-inflicting influence may cause premature death.

DASHA SATURN-SUN

1. (i) When Sun is placed in an angle or trine or 11th house occupying Subha Varga with benefic aspect or association, the native will attain power and authority over towns and villages, enter Government service or business firm, gain through forest produce, trade in drugs and other chemical substances.

(ii) Success in litigation through favour of Government officials, increase in patrimony, help from father, happy functions connected with paternal relations, meeting of pious souls, philosophic studies, devotion to God Siva etc.

2. If he is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th houses, occupying debilitated sign with Rahu or Ketu, he becomes a chandala, thereby marring the fame and fortunes of the native. He will associate with outcastes, perform inter-castle marriage, suffer from the curse of pious souls, death of children, mental anguish, etc.

3. If the Sun is posited in 2nd or 7th house with death-inflicting influence, the native may apprehend danger to life.

DASHA SATURN-MOON

1. In Dasha of Saturn-Moon, if Moon is in own sign, in exaltation sign or in Kentra or Trikona or is a Yoga-karka Planet, the beneficial results can be reaped by the native:

The Attainment of high position including in Government, acquisition of conveyances-both traditional and modern, benefits from Government (VIPs), some may become head of their village/town/department etc.

2. If the Moon be in 6th, 8th or 12th House, be in debilitation or is under the influence of malefic and weak planets, the natie may have fear of punishment from the Government, may receive injuries and may also suffer from bleeding etc. In addition, danger from thieves also indicated and the native may have to go away from place of birth and/or from family. However, the last part of Dasha may yield beneficial results.

3. Premature death is indicated if the Moon be lord of 2nd and 7th House, or If death does not take place, the native shall have body weakness, become lethargic and lazy.

DASHA SATURN-MARS

1. If Mars is in exaltation, own sign, associated with the Dasha Lord, the native shall have enjoyments, gains of weath, recognition from the Government, holding high position including that of Commander-in-Chief, may get agricultural wealth, and may also acquire house property.

2. If Mars be in debilitation, or combust or otherwise weak, the native may lose acquired wealth, danger of wounds, accident, danger from thieves, arithritis-gout type problems, coarse food to eat, and loss of kinsmen(close relations), etc.

3. Great distress, dependence on others and fear of premature death is indicated if Mars be in 2nd House or be lord of 7th House and be in 8th House from Lagna.

DASHA SATURN-RAHU

1. If Rahu is well placed or associated with Lagna Lord, in own sign or exaltation sign and even in 11th House from Lagna, the native may have enjoyments, gain of wealth, increased agricultural production-catle wealth. The native shall have favour from the Government including VIPs and shall have happiness.

2. If Rahu is not so placed (as in 1 above), the native may have arguments for nothing, quarrels, mental agony, physical distress and accidents specially when Rahu is in 8th House. Unsuccessful foreign journeys also indicated.

3. Under special principle, if Rahu is in Aries, Virgo, Taurus, Cancer or Pisces, the native may have glory and dignity and shall also acquire wealth. Shall be favoured by the Government.

4. Physical distress and mental agony indicated if Rahu be associated with lords of 2nd or 7th House. (For all evils of Rahu, give a goat in charity and recita Mantra of Lord Shiva given in this journal).

DASHA SATURN-JUPITER

1. If Jupiter is in own or exaltation sign, be in Kendra or Trikona, the native shall have all round success, shall have the benefit of Conveneyances, beneficiary of the Government (VIPs) and shall associate with men of learning. Happiness from family, and children shall also be derived.

2. If Jupiter is in debilitation-combustion or weak, the native may face death of near relations, loss of wealth, annoyance with Government officials, journeys to foreign countries (may not be beneficial) and may suffer from diseases like paralysis, leprosy, jaundice etc.

3. If Jupiter be in 5th, 9th, 11th or 2nd House from Dasha Nath, there will be oppolence and glory, gains through Government and happiness to spouse. The native shall have name and fame and shall also become religious minded leading to meditation and spiritualism.

4. If Jupiter is in 6th, 8th, 12th House either from Lagna or Dasha Nath, the native may have mental agony, quarrels and lose the position he/she holds. Losses in new ventures also indicated. Distress to wife and children and imprisonment in few cases cannot be ruled out depending on the birth chart as a whole.

DASHA MERCURY-MERCURY

1. (i) When Mercury is strongly placed in an angle or trine with benefic aspect or association, the native receives the grace of God Vishnu by which he enjoys health, wealth, education, knowledge of scriptures, promotion and service, help from uncle or other maternal relations, honours and litles of merit, expansion of business.

(ii) The native may have invitations to parties and functions, birth of sons and daughters, pilgrimage or visit to famous and interesting places, opportunities of addressing public meetings, marriage of sons or daughters, brothers and sisters, aerial tour. Students are likely to have special aptitude for astronomy, mathematics or B. Com, C.A, courses etc.

2. When Mercury is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th with malefic aspect or conjunction, he may cause failure in examination, business, loss through miscalculation, extravagance, indebtedness, disgrace, danger or death of maternal relations, damage through the effects of storms and gales, diseases of head, throat, nose mental derangement and troubles from spirits like Gandharvas and Demons living in fiery pits who will cause bad dreams, dryness of body, etc.

3. If Mercury is strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, the native may apprehend danger to life.

DASHA MERCURY-KETU

1. If Ketu is quartered in kendra (angle) or kona (trine), he promotes little happiness, little income, help from elderly relatives, widows, tedious journeys specially towards West with some obstacles to undertaking.

2. If he is placed in 3rd or 11th in an exalted or friendly sign with auspicious planets, he will produce mystic nature, spirit of renunciation, other worldliness, sectarian views, devotion of Ugra Devathas like Chandee, Rudra, Kali, success in which-craft, association with low-caste people, help from grand parents, live-stocks like dogs and cocks.

3. If he is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th occupying debilitated sign with malefic disposition, he will endanger the native pride, dissimulation, bankruptcy, miserliness, deception, vicious tendencies, secret intrigue, back-biting, loss through theft, fire, litigation, wasteful expenditure, small-pox, fear of reptiles, intercourse with widows and low caste women, bad name, shift or transfer to an unknown place.

4. If he is aspected or associated weith death-inflicting planets, he may cause premature death.

DASHA MERCURY-VENUS

1. (i) Venus in an angle or trine occupying own or exalted sign will cause romantic and amorous disposition, perfect conjugal happiness, luck through wife, movement with educated ladies, gain through shipping trade connected with sweet scents, soaps, flowers, fruits, garlands, sandal-paste, gain through money-lending, contracts, connected with well or tank work, house construction.

(ii) The native may also earn as artist, musician, actor in cinema, drama, or radio, purchase of property in the name of his wife or by the help of father-in-law, visit to historic places, birth of children, celebration of happy and auspicious functions, devotion to the Goddess Luxmi, etc. If Venus is associated with Sun, only small gain and little happiness may be expected though native may have more sexual inclination.

2. If she is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th occupying debilitated sign, curse of the Goddess or some chaste women, delay in marriage, disputes and quarrels with women, loss of quadruped, danger from water, mortgage or sale of house, jewels and lands due to the pressure of creditors are likely to happen specially in the months of Virgo, Scorpio, Saggittarius, Leo and Aries.

1. The sub-period of the Sun will generally produce heart-diseases, enmity, affliction to wife, children or other elder members of the family.

2. If he is placed in an angle or trine occupying exalted or own sign with benefic aspect, he produces proficiency in official language, Government service, fame and fortune.

3. If he is combined with Lagna-dhipati (ascendant lord) he may cause financial gain at first, followed by worries and anxieties, bereavement in the middle and end of the bhukti.

4. If he is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th occupying debilitated sign, danger to father or paternal relations, official displeasure, professional transfer, loss through business or litigation are the likely results.

5. If the Sun is quartered in 2nd or 7th house with death-inflicting influences, premature death is indicated.

DASHA MERCURY-MOON

1. (i) The sub-period of the Moon will generally cause eye defect, leprosy, pain in the neck, swelling in the limb, quarrel through women.

(ii) If she is waxing, occupying an angle or trine in exalted or own sign, he promotes speculative success, sudden fortune, help from maternal relation, happiness of mother, plenty of milk, curd, ghee in the house, cow, delicious meals, gain from white articles and grains, fame as a novelist etc.

2. If the Moon is in the wane in 6th, 8th or 12th house, mental unrest, disease to quadrupeds, wife and children, loss through speculation or fluctuation of prices, ill-health to mother.

3. If she is placed in 2nd of 7th house with death-inflicting planets, he may cause danger through water or cold diseases.

DASHA MERCURY-MARS

1. The sub-period of Mars will generally produce danger from fire, weapons, loss through theft; de-promotion in service etc.

2. If Mars is placed in an angle or trine, 3rd or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign, regaining of lost property, acquisition of lands, military service, skill in sports and games, birth of or help from brothers, gain in mechanized agriculture, engineering and architectural skill, trade in machinery, tools or spare parts are the likely results.

3. If he is laced in 6th, 8th or 12th occupying debilitated sign with malefic influence, affliction to brother, surgical operation, hurt from weapons, enmity, fear of arrest, loss of mortgage of landed property, failure of crops may happen.

4. If Mars is strongly influenced by death-dealign planets, serious danger may be apprehended.

DASHA MERCURY-RAHU

1. The sub-period of Rahu will generally cause trouble to wife, danger from fire, poison, theft, disputes; change of place, etc.

2. If he is posited in an angle or trine occupying Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Taurus with benefic influence, he will produce religious disposition, pilgrimage, holy baths in Ganges, Rameshwaram, Governmental favour, marriage or other auspicious functions, earnings through new business or masters, help from grand parents and such other good results.

3. If Rahu be placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefics, intercourse with servant women, prostitute; bite of reptiles, litigation regarding property, danger from wate, loss of foreign business and serious diseases.

DASHA MERCURY-JUPITER

1. If Jupiter is well placed occupying an angle or trine identical with own or exalted sign, he will produce pious mind, spiritual knowledge, religious study and exposition, honour from kings, birth of lucky children, sinless earning, success in South-western direction.


2. If placed in 6th, 8th or 12th occupying debilitated sign both from Dasanatha and Lagna, trouble from Brahmins or other Sathvik-minded masters, affliction to wife and children, indebtedness, divine curse are likely to happen.

DASHA MERCURY-SATURN

1. Generally, trouble from rude people, loss through agriculture, litigation, disease are likely to happen.

2. If Saturn is posited in an angle or trine occupying own or exalted sign, he will cause luck in the western and northern directions, gain from black articles and grains, servants and other low-class people.

3. If Saturn is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th in debilitated sign, small-pox, high fever, epilepsy, indebtedness, loss through theft, abortion of wife, death in foreign place etc. are indicated.
