If you don’t consider the present – day High-profile society engaged at midnights (refer to the reported murder of Jasica Lal and a subsequent write up on such late night parties (Wednesday to Saturday-entry by code number etc. in the Hindustan Times dated 9th May, 99), still in India moral character of the spouce need to be maintained. Few person with perverted sex combinations cannot destroy the traditions and well laid foundations with regard to behaviour and character of wife.

2. Do not cherish any idea about your wife after reading the following astro analysis as the combinations speak of possibilities and may not happen at all on account of other position of planets, Nakshtra, day of birth, tithi of birth and so on. 3. Astrologically, moral character of wife of a person is to be judged from 7th house Lagna, the Sun, the Moon and Venus apart from the Lord of 7th house. The wife of a person is likely to have a loose character if the 7th house is a house owned by Mars or Saturn and is aspected by Mars/Saturn/Rahu without aspect etc. of Jupiter or other benefic. The character of wife shall be questionable when an afflicted Mars is in the 7th house, or Mars is hemmed by malefics without conjunction or aspect of any benefic.

4. Mercury, normally a neutral planet, is also responsible at times for loose character of wife. When afflicted, combust and malefic not Mercury in the 7th house and is under the benefic influence of Jupiter etc. the character of wife is stated by sages to be that of immoral.

5. Briefly, the following combinations become responsible for questionable/immoral character of wife:

i) When the Moon is in the 7th house in debilitation (Scorpio is the place for debilitation of the Moon) or the Moon gets to the house of an enemy and is afflicted.

ii) When the waning Moon in the 7th house is in debilitation and is under the influence of malefics and is in the house of enemy.

iii) When the Moon is in opposition to Mars or Saturn and is situated in the Mars/Saturn. This principle need to be verified.

iv) When Mercury is lord of the 7th house, is in debilitation or is in the house of enemy and situated in inauspicious houses i.e. 6th or 8th and is afflicted hemmed by malefics.

v) The evil effects may be minimized in (iv) if the combination is guarded in any manner by Jupiter.

vi) When the Mercury (iv above) is heavily afflicted, the wife may either get separated/divorced view depending on the position of her own Moon, may also kill the husband.

vii) When Mercury is afflicted/combust etc. and the 7th house is of Saggitarius (Dhanu) or of Pisces (Meena) – both the signs belong to Jupiter representative of husband and it has to be seen what is the strength of Jupiter.

viii) When the 7th house either belong to Mars or Saturn and 7th house is occupied by Venus and Moon.

ix) Sixth house rules extra-marital relations apart from the 12th house. But position of planets in the 6th, 7th and 8th house is very important in knowing about the character etc. of wife. See the relation of 6th Lord with 7th Lord and if both are under the influence of Mars/Saturn/Rahu or other malefics. In such a situation wife may have a paramour unless these planets are protected by benefics specially Jupiter. In some cases it has been seen that situation of a malefic in 6th house also suggest that paramour in the life of the native.

x) When the lords of 6th, 8th and 9th houses are in one house aspected by malefics or conjoined with malefics.

xi) When the lord of 5th is in 6th house and also afflicted by malefics, apart from illicit relations, even child may be from paramour of the wife.

xii) When the lord of the 7th house joins the lord of the 6th house and is afflicted by malefics, they result into a paramour in the life of the wife.

6. Without multiply the combinations, it would be better if position is explained by the following two horoscopes and even placement of few planets may justify unchaste character of the wife.

In Chart o. 1 the horoscope belong to a person whose wife had found to be of loose character and she also had a paramour. See afflicted Mercury is the load of 7th house and is conjoined with 6th Lord Venus. Saturn afflices by aspect. 6th House ruling extra-marital life of the wife is conjoined by two malefics Mars and Ketu. Seventh house of Venus is conjoined with Saturn and is aspected by Rahu and other malefics.

This Chart No. 2 also belong to person whose wife had been found to be of a questional character. 7th house from both Lagna and Venus is hemmed between and 7th Lord is afflicted by aspect of Saturn and Rahu. Malefic planet Saturn in the 6th add to the combination. Role of Uranus in Hindu Astrology

As is know to all that in Hindu astrology we take care of seven planets and two nodes of the Moon – i.e. the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Right from the establishment of this journal and its research wing-Astro-Research Institute, the leading question has been what is the role of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in Hindu astrology and to what extent the astrologers are using them for the purposes of predictions. This point i.e. role of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto was also put as one of the objects of our Astro-Research Institute and I had written to few very senior astrologers but none made any effort to participate. Astrology – the divine science belongs to none – it belongs to all – it is one religion – rather a universal God.

2. Even the horoscopes prepared in India i.e. as per Hindu Astrology these planets are mentioned in the horoscopes though it is known to them they may not have much effect on individual lives but at times the state of mind when afflicted by thee planets is also indicated.

3. Now in series to follow, we shall be discussing all about Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. To start with, the discussion shall be only regard to Uranus, its effects in various houses and signs and also with association of other planets and all other possible effects. Then follows the discussion about Neptune and finally about Pluto for which only scantly material is available. Thus those of you interested in the study of these planets may write their articles for this journal specially on Pluto.

4. Both Uranus and Neptune have been termed as `mysterious planets’ and stay for a very long time in one sign. Uranus takes about 7 years and Neptune takes about 14 years to move to the other sign. It is stated that the placement of these houses over-powers its position in signs. However, I am of the opinion that position of these planetary or any other planet is capable of reflecting in more positive or negative manner depending on the sign i.e. from Aries to Pisces as each sign has different characteristics depending on the ruler of the sign as Mars owning Aries and Scorpio would have different effects as compared to Jupiter owning Aries and Scorpio would have different effects as compared to Jupiter owning Saggitarius and Pisces and so on.

Effects of different Nakshatras (Especially for Females)

While getting to predictive astrology, Nakshatra at birth has a major say in the matters. The general charactiveristics of the native and other traits are broadly indicated by the Nakshtra in which one is born.


Some difference has been laid down by the sages in this matter with regard to Male natives and Female Natives.

Here, the broad significations of Nakshtras for Females are given for convenience of the readers:

Nakshatra means here the Nakshatra in which Moon transits at he time of birth. Suppose the longitude of Chandra at the birth is 3-10o – 15’ ie 10o of Karka, It will come to Pushyami Nakshatra – the Janma Nakshatra in Cancer.

1. Aswini (Ketu) – A femal born in this Nakshatra will be clever in domestic and other work, ohandsome, Soubhagyavati, loyal and faithful to her husband, dear to the members of her family, plumpy and will be loved by her husband.

2. Bharini (Venus) – Healthy, regular and punctual, will be blessed with wealth, children and other comforts. She will also be handsome and trust worthy.

3. Krittika (Sun) – She will be a voracious eater, mischievious, miser and an adulteress.

4. Rohini (Moon) – One born in this Nakshatra will be of good nature, will speak the truth, handsome, stable minded and wealthy.

5. Mrigsira (Mars) – Timid, clever, faithful, instable nature, cheerful and blessed with children and wealth.

6. Aridra (Rahu) – Cruel hearted, proud, ungrateful, sinful and quarrelsome.

7. Punarvasu (Jupiter) – Handsome, happy and comfortable, satisfied with what she gets, not very intelligent.

8. Pushya (Saturn) – Fortunate, wealthy, blessed with children learned, calm and clever in house hold duties.

9. Ashlesha (Mercury) – 1st quarter evil for her mother, non-vegetarian, ugly, instable mind, deceptive, ungrateful, violent.

10. Magha (Ketu) – Obeys her parents, wealthy, has many servants, hard working and pains taking.

11. Poorvaphalguni (Venus) – Sweet speech, wife of a king or a person of high status, handsome, playful, ocharitable.

12. Uttaraphalguni (Sun) – Fortunate, soubhagyawati, wealthy, well educated, blessed with children and other comforts, loved by her husband.

13. Hasta (Moon) – Bereft of shame and sympathy, fond of intoxicants, handsome, thief, instable mind.

14. Chitra (Mars) – Beautiful eyes, good morals, has many ornaments, loved by her husband.

15. Swati (Rahu) – Good natured, well behaved, sweet speech, religious minded, observes the prescribed fasts etc. Clever in business.

16. Visakha (Jupiter) – Handsome, good conversationalist, jealous. Birth in last quarter evil for the younger brother of her husband.

17. Anuradha (Saturn) – Always hungry, fond of wandering, wealthy, generally away from her husband (who perhaps has to go out of the native place for his livelihood).

18. Jyeshtha (Mercury) – Easily angered, first quarter of Nakshatra evil for the elder brother of her husband, satisfied with whatever she gets, performs religious ceremonies.

19. Moola (Ketu) – If born in last pada of this Nakshatra, she is evil for her father-in-law. Otherwise has patience and perseverance, violent, has all luxuries and comforts at her disposal. If born in 4th pade of this Nakshatra, she is very fortunate, wealthy, learned, popular, kind and religious minded.

20. Poorvashada (Venus) – Pious, good husband, wealthy, has all luxuries and comforts at her disposal and is blessed with children.

21. Uttarashada (Sun) – Humble, religious minded, grateful, fortunate blessed with children.

22. Shravana (Moon) – Has good general knowledge, well informed, famous for her good qualities and good deeds, wealthy, wife of handsome husband, blessed with children.

23. Dhanishta (Mars) – Soubhagyawati, increases family wealth, charitable, patient, clever in music.

24. Satabhisha (Rahu) – Conquers her enemies, frank, not under control of anybody, courageus.

25. Poorvabhadra (Jupiter) – Unhappy, keeps her husband under her control, learned, wealthy but miser.

26. Uttarabhadra (Saturn) – Wealthy, conquers her enemies, tactful, faithful to her husband, wealthy, blessed with children.

Leo is the 5th sign in Zodiac. Leo is ruled by the Sun-centre of the solar system. In general the Sun stand for father, body, energy, action (karma), high-profile position Government Service, Government itself, fame and name, royal favour and longevity. Some attribute `left-eye’ to the Sun.

2. The Sun is a male planet and is of fiery nature.

3. The own sign (rasi) of the Sun is Leo and its Mool-trikona is also Leo but frm 00.00 degree to 20.00 degrees. The Exaltation sign for the Sun is Aries (ruled by Mars) and its deep exaltation point is 10 degrees. Debilitation point is Libra at the same degree. 10. Moon is the lord of the 12th house. Therefore, the natives of this Ascendant should avoid wearing a Pearl. The Pearl may, however, be worn in the major period of Moon if Moon is in the 12th in his own sign.

11. Sun being lord of the Ascendant, Ruby is a `must’ for such natives. They should always wear a Ruby, more so when the Sun is not well placed, weak or in any way afflicted in the chart. 2. DWI MUKHI (Two Faced): (It is Ardha Nareeshwara incarnation of Shivaparvathi). Wearer will have control on his desires and will develop divinely outlook – very useful in Kundalini awakening – essential in Vashikarna Mental ailments of various types and arthinitis will be cured and success is pregnancy.

3. TRI MUKHI (Three Faces): (Incarnation of Agni or Fire God. And also gets Brahma, Vishnu Maheshwar blessings). For the cure of common eye ailments, this Rudraksha is to rubbed in milk and applied to eye like kajal.

4. CHATUR MUKHI (Four Faced): (It is Brahma Swaroopa). By wearing this, Grasping Power, remembrance, intelligence and cleverness will increase. It treats certain types of skin diseases. It is more useful to dull minded and early stage of epilepsy. This Rudraksha is used internally with milk for 21 days for full benefit.

This type of Rudraksha is found very useful for dowsing by trying a black thin through the hole.

5. PANCHA MUKHI (Five Faced): (It is Kalagni Swaroopa and Rudragana). This Rudraksha provides more mental peace, normalizes blood circulation and controls Blood Pressure, prevents heart diseases, saves from the bad effects of evil eyes and keeps away poisonous insects. Excess sexual desires will be controlled and even lessens bad effects of sexual diseases and helps in purification of blood/mind.

6. SHAN MUKHI (Six Faced): (Incarnation of Lord Karthikeya). It is more useful in cases of Chest pain Hysteria, Fits and other feminine diseases. Due to its usage students will get increased attentive and retaining memory power. Hence it is most useful for students in getting good and higher education by more concentration. To become a good speaker this can be worn on Right hand like Rakhi.

7. SAPTHA MUKHI (Seven Faced): (Incarnation of Lord Manmadha). It is known as Ananga. This will increase sex power, will power, Stree Vashikarna and also gets rid of trauma of Mirgi or Petimal. Financial gains – Successful completion of projects.

8 ASHTA MUKHI (Eight Faced): (Incarnation of Lord Ganesh). This will increase concentration of mind develops knowledge and removes all obstacles in proposed plans and works. Helps for longevity. This is mostly worn by Pandits, Astrologers. Professors etc. It helps in curing early stage of Paralysis. Better in business.

9. NAVA MUKHI (Nine Faced): (Incarnation of Lord Bhairava main deity in Goddess Durga Devi). It is very effective in stopping miscarriage or abortions, helpful in Santhana Prapthi, heart diseases, small pox, skin problems, Ladies, with perfect devotion, wear this on right hand desires of having children. It is very rarely available. More Powerful.

10. DASHA MUKHI (Ten Faced): (It is Visnuswarupa and also known a sJanardhana). This is more useful in spiritual enlightment, keeps away whooping cough and heart born diseases, and releases the mental strain and stress. All round developer.

11. EKADASHA MUKHI (Eleven Faced): (Incarnation of Rudra and alternate to Ekamukhi):This should be worn on head, controls may types of diseases and helps in curing various feminine diseases and is helpful for Santhana Prapthi.

12 DWADASHA MUKHI (Twelve Faced): (It is the incarnation of Maha Vishnu – Adidevata is Sun) It is also known as Aditya, wearing of this on head brings enlightenment and new hope and confidence for patients with long sufferings and chronic diseases. It controls weak minds, excessive desire for sex and other bad habits. Also useful in jaundice. It will be more for Jyothisha and Vasthu Pandits.

13. TRAYODASHA MUKHI (Thirteen Faced). (It is incarnation of Lrod Indra). It is generally worn by ladies to fulfill their desires, increases their good look, beauty care and for skin diseases and early stage of Cancer. Prevents old age health problems.

14. CHATURDASHA MUKHI (Fourteen Faced). (Incarnation of Lord Shiva). It is all powerful for bestowing good health and proper wealth and is a Prathika of Lord Hanumana. Ithelps in curing the facial and partial paralysis, controls Anger and Sex. This is worn on fore head (Lalata). It is also very difficult to get this Rudraksha.

Rudraksha with 15 to 21 faces are also available but very rarely and costly. Hence we have not considered to use them in this Therapy. The two Joint Rudraksha known as Gowri-Sankar which is rarely available, increase the attachment of relationship between husband and wife. Natural three joined Rudraksha is Gowripath – all powerful.

Although in Puranas it is written that Rudrakshas are up to38 faces, but now a days Rudraksha with only 1 to 14 faces are available. Rudrakshas with only 1 to 14 faces are available. Rudraksha of other than 1 to 14 are very rarely available. Hence we have given details about 1 to 14 of Rudrakshas only.

On the basis of pharmacological experiments made by Indian and Foreign experts it is proved that Rudrakshas are beneficial in the treatment of Neurological diseases and various mental disorders. Rudraksha works as Central Nervous System Depressant, Anticonvulsant, Cardiac Stimulant and smooth muscle relaxant. Hypotensive and Hypoglycemic. Rudraksha showed the following biological activity. (1) Anti bacterial; (2) Anti Fungal; (3) Anti protozoal, (4) Anti helminthic; (5) Anti Viral and (6) Anti Cancer properties.

It is evident from the subjective survey, that 30% people use it for spiritual purpose, 35% for mental troubles and 35% for cardiac troubles. As regards its effects, cardiac patients found to get 85% relief, followed by 71% relief of mental trouble sand 50% in spiritual group. These findings clearly indicate that Rudraksha has more therapeutic values as compared to spiritual values.

According to Ayurveda Shastra, Rudraksha contains more natural Vitamin “C” (Amla) which increases the body resistance power against any disease. Rudraksha is hot in nature, hence it helps in proper blood circulation, equal distribution of energy to all the parts of human body and melts out the excess quantity of cholesterol in the blood and thus keeps the heart ailments away. It is vatagna, hence Rudraksha plays a vital role in treating chest pain and in early stage of Rheumatic pains and will not allow any further complications to grow in Rheumatic cases and also works for mental alertness and makes man feel mentally and spiritually hale and healthy. Rudraksha is also Kaphanashak, hence it has curative effect on early stage of Asthma, various allergies, rhinitis, obesity, unwanted over swelling etc. It is also having characteristic of “Shirothi Shamanam” which means having curative qualities of head diseases which includes mainly mental diseases, eyes, nose, ears, throat ailments. It is Ruchyam, which means, it is used, to cure stomach especially, indigestion, gases, tastelessness of tongue etc. Bhutarah Vinashanam hence cures the various mental diseases, bad effects of evil spirits and planetary afflictions. Thus Rudraksha had a great role on Central Nervous System’s Regularisation and Normalisation of Physical and Mental Health.

(i) Continuous wearing of Rudraksha malas or necklace the depression, mental tension, activities and Central Nervous System, controls the blood pressure, builds up the self confidence and cures certain skin diseases.

(ii) Rudraksha mala wearing alongwith Tulasimala or Mala made of Rudraksha and Tulasi beads alternatively is found to be very much effective in T.B. and Lung diseases.

(iii) For Tongue cracks, tastelessness, heaviness, Rudraksha decoction’s garging is found to be very effective.

(iv) Ten Rudraksha boiled with 200 ml Gingely Oil (Til) (+) Nine garlic pieces for 30 minutes and filtered is a prepared Rudraksha Oil. This oil can be used by little warming up and applied on chest for cure of Pneumonia and chest pains of Spasmatic nature.

(v) Keep the Shanmukhi Rudraksha in a cup of boiling milk during night and drink before going to bed for 40 days. It corrects the mental weakness and improves the memory power.

Propitiation of Lord Shiva

Shiva Mantras

“OM NAMAH SHIVAYA SUBHAM SUBHAM KURU SHIVAYA NAMAH OM.”

i) The above Mantra is highly meritorious and auspicious. It generates the pleasure of the Gods. It yields both worlds by enjoyment an salvation, confers cherished desires and brings about the happiness of the devotees of Shiva

ii) It is conducive to blessedness, fame, longevity to those who seek heaven. Those who are free from desires derive the benefit of salvation.

iii) The nature who repeats this mantra-in purity, hears or narrates this to any person, shall attain all desires.

iv) From the Adhara Sakti to the seat of the sacred love the devotee shall repeat the mantra. M Shivaya Namah.

v) The japa of six syllables (Om Namah Shivaya) shall be performed always.

2. `OM’ OR `AUM’ – OMKARA MANTRA

i) The word “OM” is the single – syllabled Mantra. The all pervading Shiva is stationed in it. The five syllables constitute his body. He is stationed in the six syllabled mantra in the form of “expressed and expression”. Shiva is the expressed since He is comprehensible. The mantra is his expression (Om Namah Shivaya).

ii) Lord Shiva bad taught this great auspicious Mantra. Omkara came out of HIS mouth. Originally it indicated him.

iii) Lord Shiva is the indicator and HE is the indicated. The mantra is identical with HIM. The repetition of this mantra is verify his repeated remembrance.

iv) By the recitation of this root-mantra, the very enjoyment as well as salvation is achieved.

v) The Mantra may be recited as directed by the Goddess (Parvati). This Om Mantra which is identical with Lord Shiva.

vi) Your knowledge shall be stabilized. Permanent fortune shall stand by you. On the Chaturdasi day (4th Tithi) and on the day with Ardra Star (Ardra Nakshtra), the recitation of this Mantra will give you ever-lasting efficacy, name and fame.

vii) Remember that Lord Shiva creates the universe at the outset saying of “OM”.

viii) The Saints sages, the scholars, who realize and identify between the name and the sound know Lord Shiva as the single-syllabled OM.

ix) Let the devotee practitioner, sitting in a retired place and restraining his senses, utter by inaudible repetition, the long pranava OM, in order to destroy all obstacles.

x) `AUM’ MEANING – Letter “A” expresses Brahma, and the letter “U” Vishnu, the letter “Ma” expresses Shiva.

3. Repetition of Mantra (Japa)

i) It is said that a Japa without the behest of the preceptor, holy rites, faith and the prescribe fees is fruitless though the behest might have been secured.

ii) If a Mantra is well practiced with the acquisition of behest, attended with holy rites, equipped with faith in Lord Shiva and accompanied by fee it is greatly efficacious, beneficial and fruitful.

iii) Dedicating yourself along with your possessions to the Lord and after uneventfully worshipping HIM to your capacity. You shall learn the Mantra and derive knowledge in due course of time.

iv) Lord Shiva recounts the procedure for acquiring the mantra. Without it the Mantra is futile and with it, it is efficacious. The futile ones are the following:

a) Mantra acquired without permission.
b) Devoid of holy rites.
c) Devoid of faith.
d) Devoid of full attention.
e) That which has been prohibited.
f) Permitted but devoid of gifts.

v) The following Mantras are fruitful:

a) Achieved with permission.
b) Attended with rituals.
c) Fully equipped with faith.
d) Where the mind fully dwells.
e) And attended with gifts (to the preceptor).

vi) The muttering of the Mantra with high, low or middle accentuation is called the verbal japa.

vii) The mumbling japa is the one where the tongue throbs and there is a sight utterance. It may not be heard by other or may be slightly heard.

viii) The mental japa is that where the series of letters are thought well and the words, their meaning are pondered over.

ix) The mumbling japa is hundred more times effications than verbal and the mental is a thousand times more effications than mumbling.

x) The japa shall be performed by means of the thumb in contact with other fingers (i.e. counting the japas on the rosary). If japa is performed without the thumb it is futile.

xi) All these are inimical to japa viz. anger, arrogance, inebriation and thirst, lethargy, spitting, yawning and seeing a dog or a base man.

xii) The native can perform japa while conversing with others.

xiii) Rosary for Mantras – If there are hundred and eightbeads (of Rudraksa) that rosary is the most excellent (for japa).]

xiv) The benefit is infinite if the calculation (of Shiva’s japa) is by knots of the Kusa grass or Rudraksa beads.

xv) Mantra Yoga – The practice and repetition of the japa along with meditation is Mantra-yoga.

xvi) If japa is performed in the house, it is ordinarily efficacious. In a holy forest or park, it is thousand times more. On the banks of a river, it is hundred times more.

xvii) The japa performed on the seashore in a divine pond, on a mountain, in a temple and in a sacred hermitage has a crore times the benefit. If it is in presence of Shiva (Linga) it is endless.

xviii) The japa with Rudra as the presiding deity is the most excellent, that with Vishnu as the presiding deity is the middling and that with Brahma as the presiding deity is of the lowest quality.

xix) One shall never perform Japa wearing a turban and a coat. If one is naked or one has loosened the knots of hair, or is dirty or is impure or has impure hands, he shall not perform Japa.
