Earlier, we talked about death in early child-hood, young age and middle age. Now we shall discuss about the full age (puran-ayu) age i.e. up to 12 years as per Vimshotri system of dasha. This section covers age group from 80 years to 120 years.

2. Normally, it has been seen that puran- ayu (long life) is indicated when benefits occupy kendras and the Lagna Lord is with benefits and is aspect Jupiter. Apart from the combinations given below, when 3 planets occupy 8^th house (8^th house in a horoscope stand, inter-alia for long life) and are in their exaltion or own sign or in a friendly sign, long life is the result.

3. Following are the specific combinations for long life:

i) Long life of about 100 years is indicated if the Sun, Saturn and Mars occupy movable navmvsha, Jupiter and Venus occupy fixed Navamsas and the Moon and Mercury are in own Navamshas.

ii) The native gets long life when the Lagna Lord is in a Kendra (angle) and the malefic occupy the 12^th and 6^th houses.

iii) With 10^th lord in exaltation and the occupation of 8^th house by malefic, the native gets long life.

iv) If the Lagna Lord and 8^th lord are in the 8^th house, long life indicated.

v) The native gets long life if the 8^th Lord occupies his own sign or Saturn is in the 8^th house. (Saturn is signification of long life).

vi) Long life is indicated if the Jupiter is exalted, benefices occupy their Mooltrikona signs (rasis) and the Lagna Lord is powerful life 80 years and beyond.

vii) If all the planets occupy the 9^th house, the native gets long life. This principle need more research as such persons with all the planets in one houses is a rarity though on 5^th Feb. 1962 most of the planets were in one house. Persons having such charts may send the same to the Editor for study and research.

viii) Life about 80 years is indicated if all the planets are in kendras and in malefic Navamsas.

ix) Full life is indicated if the 2^nd half of Sagittarius is rising and all the planets in their exaltation with Mercury in Taurus at 24 degree.

x) The native enjoys long life if Saturn occupies the 1^st or 9^th house and the Moon occupies the 12^th or the 9^th house.

xi) Look at the horoscope and see the placement of the planets. Broadly, the principle is that if the 8^th lord and malefic occupy Kendras, Panaparas, or Apoklimas, the span of the life is respectively considered as short, medium or long. From this it transpires that all the benefic planets in Kendras (1,4,7,10) indicated long life, in Panaparas (2,5,8,11) indicated medium life and in Apoklimas (3,6,9,12) indicated short life.

xii) The Sun in 8^th house in its exaltation position (Aries sign) given long life and for a trouble free life, the Sun must not be affricate.

xiii) With Mars in 8^th house, the native shall be short lived unless there are other alleviating factors. This position of Mars is also not good for husband/ wife especially when the 7^th Lord (Mars) gets to 8^th house. Therefore, while matching horoscope, see the position of Mars especially in 8^th house and if affliction is heavily indicated, try to get the married postponed. All men/ women dying in prime youth have Mars in 8^th house but this principle need to be checked with more horoscopes. You are welcome to mail birth charts of person who die in youth.

xiv) Saturn in 8^th house gives good longevity but the native has to take up more responsibilities.

In Hindus Astrology, we have seven planets i.e. The Sun, The Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn apart from Two Nodes of the Moon i.e. Rahu and Ketu. Thus we have nine planets.

2. By our sages and classics, some important significations have been attributed to all these planets and a knowledge of these significations is necessary for predications in any field of Astrology personal individual, national (Mundane astrology) and also in Horary (prashan kundli). For Example: The Sun represent the Government, King, Government Officials specially VIPs etc. and it has been seen that normally person holding high position are born with well- placed Sun or exalted Sun in the horoscope.

Jupiter’s role in judiciary crimes by Children – An Astro analysis

Crimes by adolescent- children are well known. We shall attribute this aspect of life also to the Planets. Apart from the Planets responsible, the children at tender age get swayed by the so called 'bad- men' of the society and they use the children for all purposes i.e. all types of nefarious activities.

In Astrology, Jupiter is the significator (karka) of children and in a horoscope, the 5^th house and 5^th lord have an important role to play with regard to children of the native. Any type of affliction by Saturn, Mars, and Rahu is capable of making the child to adopt crime life on account of various circumstances including the society we live and also the fact that the Country has no law for the children for education and career. Most of the children get to begging because there is no support from the parents, others including Voluntary Organizations claiming to be in the service of humanity and also the silent- spectator i.e. the State Governments, the Central Government and also the Human Rights Commission.

"SC clears doubt in Juvenile Justice Act"

THE SUPREM COURT has clarified a major ambiguity in the Juvenile Act by ruling that a juvenile would be tried by a regular court if he were arrested after crossing the age of 16 years.

The bench was clearly of the view that the Juvenile Justice Act would be applicable if the "competent authority finds the person brought before it for the first time to be under 16 year of age (18 year in case of a girl)."

It means even if a person committed an offence while being a competent authority after he or she crossed the age of 16 or 18 years, he or she would be tried by a regular court. "The date of commission of offence is irreverent for finding out whether the person is a juvenile within the meaning of section 2 (H) of the ACT, the SC said.

The court noted that ,neither the definition of juvenile or any other provides contained in the Act specially provides the date by reference to which the age of a boy or girl has to be determined so as to find out whether he or she is a juvenile or not, During the argument of the case counsel for accused contended that age of the person on the date of commission of the crime should determine whether he or she was to be tried under the juvenile justice Act. The court asked the counsel what happens if a boy or girl of just less than 16 or 18 years of age commits an offence and then leaves the country. "

Lord Shiva’s Fruit – RUDRAKSHA

Remedial Measures: We have already discussed about various benefits bestowed by Lord Shiva. Now we give more details specially about the medicinal help via Rudraksha. It may be re-called that there are about 38 types of Rudraksha but only few are available and that too depending on the quality and face of Rudraksha. One 'mukhi' (one faced) is a rarity and thus may be costly.

2. Rosary or Rudraksha beads need to be washed daily with milk or Ganges water. Lord Shiva is known to bestow all His blessings on the devotee. Before wearing Rudraksha , Worship the same on Monday with 'dhoop – bati' and should be wore preferably in red thread.

3. Rudraksha , a herbal drug having the most valuable medicinal qualities is a dried fruit. When soaked in water for 2 days and the outer pulp peeled out (cover) Rudraksha seed (bead) will come out. In olden days the Rudraksha treatment was given by only Sadhus, Sanyasis, etc. who kept their mode of usage in utmost secrecy to their cult only. It was very difficult to collect the details.

4. Generally Rudraksha medicines are most effective and also preventive and curative but one must use them for not less than 40 days to the root level of the diseases.

5. Wearing of Rudraksha malas or necklace relieves the depression , mental tension , activities the Central Nervous System, controls the blood pressure, builds up the self confidence and cures certain skin diseases. By constant seeing the Rudraksha at the time of Sun rising in the open air and also touching it to the eye lids improves the eye sight and cures early stage of Cataract. It should be done for more than 80 days.

6. For Tongue cracks, tastelessness, heaviness, Rudraksha decoction's gargling is found to be very effective. Ten Rudrakshas boiled with 200 ml Gingerly Oil (Til) for 30 minutes and filtered is a prepared Rudraksha Oil. This oil can be used by little warming up and applied in chest for cure of Pneumonia and Chest pains of Spasmatic nature.

7. In case of swelling of knees and other joints, Rudraksha powder mixed in equal quantity of Seethaphal leaves powder along with lukewarm mustard oil application gives very good results . In cases of stammering , 2 beads of Chaturmukhi Rudraksha are put in a cup of boiling milk and the milk should be drunk after it gets cooled down. This milk should be taken before going to bed and repeated for 3 months. The beads taken out of milk should be washed properly and kept safely.

8. In chronic cough specially with phlegm, Rudraksha rubbed paste along with Tulsi dry stem mixed with honey can be taken regularly for 3 months. After boiling the milk , take out the Rudraksha while garlic piece is consumed along with the milk.

9. Three of Rudraksha soaked in a cup of ordinary water over night and a habit of drinking this water early in the morning keeps the blood pressure normal. Two grams of Rudraksha powder mix with Honey and taken daily after food is a general tonic (80 days is the minimum period.)

10. Rudraksha powder mix with sufficient quantity of Honey and made as Lehyam will cure numbness and tones up nervous system. To avoid bad dreams it is practiced to keep Rudraksha beneath the pillow, with full confidence. For burning of eyes and conjunctivitis use Rudraksha eye drops. When Rudraksha is kept in Rose water for 4 hours it becomes Rudraksha eye drops.

11. Rudraksha also helps in purifying the water when it is kept in the pot for an hour. For black spots on face Rudraksha paste with lime juice and sandal wood powder mixed well and applied externally yields good results. For headache, application of Rudraksha and Dry ginger paste is found useful.

12. For Kidney problems, dysfunction (Nephritis) etc, five Panchamukhi Rudraksha tied in copper wire and kept in copper vessel of medium type filled with water of 4 glasses and used regularly will give good results in controlling the disease slowly leading to recovery.

13. Wearing Rudrakshas of Chaturmukhi and Panchamukhi on ful Moon and New Moon (Amavasya) days is believed to be useful against evil spirits and ill omen and also amulets made from Rudrakshas are beneficial. In case of Bronchitis in Children Rudraksha powder (1 gram) mixed with Honey given internally every hour helps in bringing out the phlegm (Kapha) by inducing vomiting.

14. For Self control emotions Rudraksha should be worn above the waist level. Rudraksha vibhuti can be applied on the body whenever required by the patients to keep warm up and also for relief from numbness. Rudraksha Kantamala around the neck will control breathing trouble. Rudraksha mala long enough to touch the heart region works well for heart problems.

15. There is a firm belief that for safe travelling Rudraksha is worn before journey starts and foreign trips and also at the time of new business.

16. It is also long standing belief that bath with Rudraksha water is as good and Ganga Water bath. Rudraksha and Sandal wood paste applied on eye lids at night will cure sticking of eye lids and watering of eyes.

More important points about Rudraksha

As preventing measure about Rudraksha any type of Rudraksha , mala of any externally used.

It is better to use only Chaturmukhi and Panchamukhi Rudrakshas in the beginning.

When Rudraksha are used in milk, every day it should be properly cleaned.

To preserve costly Rudrakshas of various faces available rarely, keep the Rudrakshas soaked in mustard oil for seven days and then use. No cracks or deshaping will occur.

Regularly cleaning of Rudrakshas by a clean to fresh tooth brush with water, helps get energy properly.

Important days for wearing Rudrakshas are Monday, Poornima, Amavasya and Maha Shivarathri day for better results. Wearing Rudraksha on these days brings excellent results.
