Now days it is seen that people name their building without going into the details as mentioned in our classics. The general tendency which is seen is that people name the building either in the name of their elders or the name of their children. This way the building gets the name without any classical endorsement. If the buildings are named as per the cannons of the Vastu then certainly we can prove the principles of Vastu on scientific cannons. Besides if we include the date of birth of the owner of the house, alphabets of his name then the house would certainly give good results.
1.. Where south and west joins, the number of those houses should be 1, 10, 19, 28, 37, 100 or the entry gate of the house should be in eastern direction. In these circumstances the name of he house should start from Ga, Pu, Bha, Pra, Di, Hi, Hey, A, Ma, Ra. The stone of the house should either be of round shape or of Octagon shape of either, yellow, pink, red or light colours. The stone has to be fixed on the right hand side of the house.
2. The house whose number is 2, 11, 20, 38, 101 and the main door is towards north, west or east direction then the name of the use should start from the alphabet Shu, Hi, E, Ka, Ta, So, Sa, Ra, Ma. The name should be engraved on a octagon shaped stone of white cream colour or of light colour. The stone has to be fixed o0n the left side of the house.
3. The houses whose number starts from 3, 12, 21, 30, 39 and the main door of the house opens at north-east direction then in these conditions the name of the house should start from Gu, Su, De, Ee, Ja, A and the stone of the house should be square. The colour of the stone could be green, yellow, violet or any light colour. The name plate should be affixed in the centre of the house.
4. The houses whose number starts from 4, 13, 22, 31, 40, 103 and the main door of the house opens at east direction then in these conditions the name of the house should start from Ka, Di, Ra, A, Pu, Hi and the stone of the house should be square. The colour of the stone should be brownish cream, light yellow, or of saffron colour. The name plate should be square and be affixed in the centre of the house.
5. The houses whose number starts from 5, 14, 23, 32, 41, 104 and the main door of the house opens at north direction then in these conditions the name of the house should start from Ta, Bo, Cha, He, Ro, Ti, So and the stone of the house should be of orange or blue colour. The names should be written with bell metal.
6. The houses whose number starts from 6, 15, 24, 33, 42, 105 and the main door of the house opens at east or south direction then in these conditions the name of the house should start from Aa, Su, Bi, Ka, Bha. The colour of the stone could be yellow, white, red or golden. The name plate should be affixed in the South-east direction of the house.
7. The houses whose number starts from 7, 16, 25, 34, 43, 106 and the main door of the house opens at north-west direction then in these conditions the name of the house should start from Dha, Shi, Ja, Pha, Pa and the stone of the house should be in mace style. The colour of the stone could be blue, white, or cream colour. The name plate should be affixed in the at a higher place in the house.
8. The houses whose number starts from 8, 17, 26, 35, 44, 107 and the main door of the house opens at west direction then in these conditions the name of the house should start from Se, Tha, So, Ra, Da, Cha and the colour of the stone could be chocolate, steel grey, ash or of blue colour. The name plate should be written in five metals.
9. The houses whose number starts from 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 108 and the main door of the house opens at east direction then in these conditions the name of the house should start from Pa, Kshi, Ma, Ku, A, Dhu, Bhu and the stone of the house should be Triangle. Tamar patar should be used on the name plate. The colour of the stone could be golden, light yellow, orange, or light colours. The name plate should be affixed on the right side of the house.
