Likewise luxuries are governed by Venus in the astrology. If spells related to wealth and luxuries are done, then they should be started on the first Friday of the shukal paksh. If someone wants to be benefited quickly from the spells then one should take note of the natal moon. For example, from someone’s Moon sign (of the popular name) if the transit of moon is in fourth, eighth and twelfth house then he should not perform the spell because it would harm him. Besides this one should note that it should not be a rikta tithi (Chaturthi, navmi or chaturdashi) or there should not be any sutak (Twelve days after the birth or death) in the home of the native.

Astrology has divided whole day in different auspicious and inauspicious time. A table to this effect is being provided below. However, our scholars have assigned 11:30 to 12:30 to abhijit mahurat in which all types of works could be started without working out any mahurat for the same. Acharya Varahamir has given following table for starting any spell as per the month and hora for that day. As per the Hindu panchang the day starts from the Sun rise and ends at the Sun rise of the next day. Readers are advised to check the time of Sun rise as per the panchang of their respective area and adjust the time accordingly

Number of spells at one time

The practitioner is at liberty to perform as many spells at one time. While switching over to another spell he has to wash his hand and if possible he should take bath. However, it is advised that he should perform only two spells in one day, one in the morning and the other in the evening for early efficacy.

Procedure for performing the spell

There is no procedure laid down for performing any spell. The day the practitioner wants to start the spell he should take bath and resolute in front of his isht that he performing a spell and he should be blessed with success after its completion. He should offer pooja to Him and start the spell. After completion. He should offer pooja to Him and start the spell. After completion of the spell he should distribute sweets (Prasad). Till the spell is not completed he should not reveal it to any one, of course, if he is benefited with it he could tell it to any one he likes. Of course, he should convey thanks to his isht (household deity) for bestowing success.

Place for performing spell

The main thing in the spells is to observe sanctity. If someone is performing some spell and has to go out for some purpose then he should perform the spell there itself. There are some of the spells, which are performed at the same place where they wee started. For example, someone is undertaking the spell of Lakshmi Sadhna and in that period he is away to some of his relatives. In that case he should not perform that spell there because it is said that where the spell is started the blessings of that deity rests there. If the spell is undertaken at the home of the relative then goddess would bestow her blessing at the house of the relative and not at the native’s.

Here it may be worth mentioning that in case you are outside then other family members cannot perform the spell in your place. Lighting lamp at peepal or banana tree is free from this binding.
