Dr. Shanker Adawal
“Will I win? The question was posed by a gentleman who was contesting
election for a seat in the Milk Producers Society. He came to me five days
before he had decided to file his nomination papers. I lost no time in asking
him to come out with a number between 1 and 249, and he said `129’ without any
hesitation.
I took up his query for answer on the same day but after an interval of
a few hours. It was 8-21 PM (IT) on Saturday, July 31, 1971. The place of
judgment was Master (Gujarat).
The horary chart for the number `129’, the house positions referring to
the number and the planetary positions for the time when the matter was judged,
is reproduced here for the information of the readers.

strongly represents Venus and Sun with which it is conjoined.

D.
Is the matter promised
In all Horary questions,
the sub-lord of the cusp of the house pertaining to the subject matter of query
is the deciding factor to determine whether the matter will be favourable or
not. If the sub-lord is favourable, then in the conjoined period of the
significators of the particular house, the event will materialize.
E.
Moon’s position at query.
The Moon shows what the
querent Ascendant conjoined with Jupiter lord of 3 and 6. It is deposited in
the constellation of Jupiter, and sub of Venus lord of lagna in 10. The Moon
itself is the lord of the 10th house. Moon is thus a powerful
significator of houses 1, 3, 6 and 10 its position at query clearly reveals
that the query is related to a honour-winning an election.
F.
Analysis.
The 11th cusp
in this case falls in Sun sign, Ketu star, Rahu sub. Rahu is in the
constellation of Moon and the sub of Venus. Moon, in whose constellation Rahu
was posited, is lord of 10 occupying the lagna. Moon was closely conjoined with
Jupiter, lord of 3 and 6, in the lagna Bhava, though Jupiter is placed in the
second sign counted from that occupied by the Moon (Planet are considered to be
in conjunction if they are in a certain relative distance between them and not
on the basis of their configuration in a sign). Venus, in whose sub Rahu was
deposited is in rapt (exact) conjunction with the cusp of the Meridian (10th
house.). Thus, the sub-lord Rahu is a strong beneficial influence in indicating
success.
The 5th house
is the 11th house, counting the 7th house as first, and
the 7th represents the competitor in election. Let us see the sub
lord of the 5th house also. Rahu, again becomes the sublord of the 5th
cusp, and, as discussed before, Rahu is in Moon constellation Venus sub. Moon
is in seventh to the 7th house and he is the lord of 4 from the 7th.
Venus, similarly, is lord of 7 in the 4th reckoned from the 7th.
So Rahu shows defeat for the person represented by the 7th house.
As a proof of
confirmation, the sixth house was also examined. Ketu becomes the sub lord of
the 6th. It is an occupant of the 10th and is conjoined
with Sun, lord of 1, and Shukra, lord of 1. Further, Ketu is deposited in the
constellation of Mercury placed in 11, and sub of Venus, lagna lord who has
gone to 11. Hence, Ketu is a strong significator of 1, 10 and 11 house matters.
The native’s 12th
house is the 6th house reckoned from the 7th house
denoting the competitor. Ketu once again is his 6th house sub-lord.
Ketu, as we have just noted, is a powerful significator of houses 1, 10 and 11
and shows success to the querent and not to the person signified by the 7th
house.
Besides these indications,
Jupiter, a natural benefic is conjoined with the 10th lord Moon in
the lagna of the querent. Jupiter is also in trine aspect – 120 degrees – to
Venus and the 6th and 10th houses. All factors point
beyond doubt to the querent winning the election contemplated, and I declared
so.
In contrast to the
complex, confusing and contradictory porinciples found in traditional texts,
Krishnamurti Padhati is solid, simple and sound and free from doubt. It helps
in predicting any query of a minor or major character in the shortest possible
time and in a scientific way.
