Leo-Aquarius
Leo, the regal Lion is
ruled by the shining Sun but Aquarius, the Water-Bearer, is ruled by cool,
structured Saturn; so the compatibility between a Leo and an Aquarian may not
be great, but it will not be too bad either. When these two powerhouses get together,
the flames of love will burn bright. There will be a difference in their
personality traits, yet none of them will be would be so major that they cannot
be curbed or conquered. Both Aquarius and Leo are both fixed signs, so even
though they will be natural partners but their ego conflicts can spark up,
especially when the lion’s authority will be questioned. Luckily these
conflicts can almost always be resolved between the sheets. The aloofness of
Aquarius would prove to be a challenge to Leo and what will possibly bring them
together will be the fact that on the first appearance, the Aquarian will seem
to the Leo to be a much warmer hearted personality than he/she seems under that
frosty exterior. The Water Bearer will be often accused, with some justification,
of being unduly emotionally detached and even somewhat clinical. Since the lion
will be generous and love to be on the centre-stage, this can be rather
annoying, especially should their quirky Aquarian’s attention will be caught by
some lesser breed of zodiacal beast. Superficial personality conflicts will
need to be smoothened put, for at a deeper level, they will be very well
matched.
Here are two signs that
are temperamentally opposed to each other in many respects, if not
diametrically. While Aquarius will be quiet, reserved and stand offish by
nature, the Leo will be warm, independent minded and proud. Although the
Aquarian will be warm hearted but it will scarcely be seen on the exterior; the
Aquarian will never be as warm hearted and generous with self as Leo would like
or expect which will be thing that the
latter will have to accept if he/she wants to get the relationship going. Both
Aquarius and Leo will be pride filled signs with fixed opinions which will
cause them many arguments. Being a humanitarian, Aquarius will not be that
interested in material gain; with Leo, success in financial gains comes first
and has little patience with the Aquarian ideals; calling them unrealistic. The
lower type of Aquarian will be apt to be cowardly in life, never confronting
anything, except the violent quarrels with his/her spouse. The first time this
cowardice will be noticed by Leo, there comes a loss of respect which will send
Leo out of the relationship, and out looking for a mate he/she can respect. The
Leo can never tolerate himself/herself being inferior to others and neither
will any sign of lowliness be tolerated in his/her partner. Their sexual life
will be unsatisfactory for Leo as Aquarius will have a propensity towards
looking for better companions who can capture their interests and this will
frustrate and make Leo think that his/her mate is inhuman and uncaring. Surely
not a match made in Heaven.
Lions will be naturally
loyal and true, while Aquarius will be always interested in things that are off
the wall, can be rather more promiscuous than the Lion would like. The
inquiring Aquarian mind can also be more critical than a Leo will be able to
handle, so this can be rather unpleasantly deflating for their ego. The plus
side will be Aquarius will be original and creative in every way, especially in
matters of the heart, so the Leo can expect to treat on some exciting new pathways.
Basically, Leo will be physical and Aquarius will be mental. Both will have
different views of independence. Both will tend to be emotional and
stimulating, leading to an amicable and affable relationship between the two.
The other thing which will be common in them will be is their love for
adventure. Thrill and excitement, enveloped with ecstasy, is the joy of their
life and they will enjoy each other’s company in this. Together they can make a
great team, but if Aquarius will get impatient with the Lion’s constant need
for adulation, or objects to their imperious manner, problems may become
unmanageable. This relationship will be exciting and potentially long lasting
if they can find other interests in common.
Between a Leo man and
Aquarian woman initially, things may be very pleasant, but if they will not try
to understand each other, things might start getting a little shaky. There will
be differences between the two, which will need to be curbed. While he will get
too emotionally involved, she will feel the need for space every now and then.
They will need to balance such extremities. He should learn to give her the
space she wants and she ought to make him feel loved and cared for. Both the
Leo man and the Aquarius woman should take a step towards each other to make
their life blissful and pleasurable.
In case of Leo woman and
Aquarian woman some effort an understanding from both the sides would be
required to take compatibility to high levels and form the bond into a long
lasting relationship. Emotionally, they will need to make efforts to make their
relationship work. The Aquarian will need to be careful enough to keep his
criticism away from the sensitive Leo and instead, shower her with loads of
compliments. Both will be pretty vibrant, with him being quite unconventional
and her being pretty powerful. This combination will give rise to a situation
where boredom and dullness will have no place to survive. A little adjustment
and both will have the possibility of venturing into a fun filled relationship.
There will be a few
differences which, though nominal, can cause serious problems in the
relationship. The Lion may be too demanding for the Aquarius who in turn can be
too aloof and detached. The former will also fail to understand the
unpredictability, coldness and elusiveness of the latter. Another aspect which
might lead to negativity in the couple is the carefree nature of the Aquarian
which would not go too well with the Lion. Both of them will need to be a
little more flexible and control their ego. Things would then automatically
start falling into places.
