The
Nature in general:
Scorpio is the most
misunderstood of all astrology signs. They will be all about intensity and
contradictions. They will like to be aware of a situation and always know
what’s going on, figuring this out with their probing mind; on the other hand,
they will be interested in the occult, the paranormal, conspiracy theories and
other types of similar unknown mysteries. They will be very capable of hiding
their true feelings and motivations and often they will have ulterior motives
or a hidden agenda. A small number of pure Scorpios will have characters of the
violent and irrational nature traditionally attributed to them and that most
individuals born with a Scorpio sign will be honest, rational and not
exceptionally quarrelsome or debauched. Nevertheless, it has to be admitted
that a good number of pure Scorpios will be more secretive, abrupt, strong
willed and fiercely erotic than most people provided that these characteristics
will be modified by a certain amount of self-control and can be used as a
source of strength to fulfill his or her desire in life.
In general Scorpios will
be very emotional individuals and their emotions will be intensified, both good
emotions and bad. Negative emotions of jealousy and resentment will be the
hallmarks of this turbulent astrology sign. On the other side, Scorpios will be
well known for their forceful and powerful drive to succeed and their amazing
dedication. Scorpios will be constantly trying to understand their emotions
through finding a deeper purpose in life. They will be very intuitive, but not
as in a psychic sense, more as intuitive into the human mind, they will have a
great understanding of the mystery and the power of the human mind. They will
have a fear of failure which they will keep hidden extremely well, should their
confrontation not be successful, or their career fail, they will simply use
their adaptive skill to quickly move and leave the bad experience behind.
Scorpios will be the most
intense, profound, powerful characters in the zodiac. Even when they will
appear self controlled and calm there will be a seething intensity of emotional
energy under the placid exterior. They will be like the volcano not far under
the surface of a calm sea; It may burst into eruption at any moment. In
conventional social gatherings they will be pleasant to be with, thoughtful in
conversation, dignified, and reserved, yet affable and courteous; they
sometimes possess penetrating eyes which make their shyer companions feel naked
and defenseless before them. Once they will decide to do something, they will
give themselves over to it and nothing can district them from their purpose.
They will be perfectionists, sometimes to the point of obsession. They will be
deep, complex, brilliant people who excel in their endeavors. Their single
mindedness can make them rigid and lead to black and white thinking. The lack
of flexibility, combined with their tendency to manipulate others, can make it
difficult to be in an intimate relationship with a Scorpio. Because Scorpios
will be drawn to extremes, they will find themselves continually transformed by
cycles of death and rebirth; such as the end of a relationship and the
beginning of another. This is how they will learn. In their everyday behavior
they will give the appearance of being withdrawn from the center of activity,
yet those who know them will recognize the watchfulness that will be the part
of their character. They will need great self-discipline, because they will be
able to recognize the qualities in themselves that make them different from
other humans, and to know their utterly conventional natures can be used for
great good, or great evil. Their tenacity and willpower will be immense, their
depth of character and passionate conviction will be overwhelming, yet they
will be deeply sensitive and easily moved by their emotions. Their sensitivity,
together with a propensity for extreme likes and dislikes will make them easily
hurt, quick to detect insult or injury to themselves and easily aroused to
ferocious anger. This may express itself in such destructive speech or action
that they will make lifelong enemies by their outspokenness, for they will find
it difficult not to be overly critical or anything or anyone to whom they take
a dislike.
They can harness their
abundant energy constructively, tempering their self confidence with shrewdness
and their ambition with magnanimity toward others provided they will like them.
They will relate to fellow workers only as leaders and can be blunt to those
they will dislike to the point of cruelty. In fact they will not be above
expressing vindictiveness in deliberate cruelty. They will be too demanding,
too unforgiving of faults in others, perhaps because they will not to be aware
of the shortcomings within themselves, and extravagantly express their
self-disgust in unreasonable resentment against their fellows. However, they
will make excellent friends, provided that their companions do nothing to
impugn the honor of which Scorpios will be very jealous. Part of the negative
side of the Scorpio nature will be a tendency to discard friends once they
cease to be useful, but the decent native will be aware of, and fights this
tendency.
