Part 2
(7) The planet in the
12th house owning a movable sign also occupying a movable sign, or
as lord of a Dusthana or aspected by Saturn.
(8) Exchange between
friendly lords of the 9th and 12th house preferably in
movable signs.
(9) Dasa or Bhukti of
the 9th, the 10th or the 12th lord from
Ascendant, the Moon or the Sun (in a movable sign) associated with a yoga
karaka, usually propitious for bringing about foreign travel.
(10) Dasa of lord of the
12th or that of the planet placed in the 12th or that
aspecting the 12th.
(11) Fixing the time is
a rather ticklish affairs which every student of astrology will vouch. The
timing can be sometimes made with reference to the transit of Jupiter or his
Trinal aspect over the M. C., the Sun or the lord of the 9th in a
movable sign.
(12) When Jupiter makes
a Trinal aspect on the lord of the 7th from a movable sign or double
bodied sign or when the 7th lord himself is in a movable or doubled
bodied sign and Jupiter makes a Trinal aspect on him, then the person will have
a long journey or travel abroad.
(13) Lord of the 9th
in Ascendant and vice versa or exchange between lords of the Ascendant and the
9th makes the person live in foreign lands.
(14) When a planet is in
his depression or inimical house and is also retrograde the native will live in
a foreign land serving some one.
(15) Lord of the Lagna
in the 12th, a malefic planet in the 10th and combined
with Mars makes the native live in a foreign country and lead a miserable life.
(16) When three or more
planets other than the luminaries occupy both the 2nd and the 12th
from the Ascendant, then the native will live in a foreign country.
(17) If the Ascendant is
movable and lord of the Ascendant also in a movable sign aspected by a planet
from a movable sign, then the native will make his fortune in a foreign place.
(18) There is no
specific karaka or significator for foreign travels given in the texts although
the Moon and Mars are termed for the purpose generally. Rahu and Kethu are no
less important for signifying foreign travels unless they are well associated
with a Yogakaraka planet and placed in a movable, the 9th or 12th
house from the Ascendant or the Moon.
(19) Kethu in the above
situation would give mediocre effects in the beginning of his Dasa and during
the last phase of the Dasa provide for a foreign visit.
(20) Other planets and
Bhavas also acquire powers to bring about the event through such qualifications
as prescribed earlier in their respective Dasa Bhukti and or transit of such
planet or planets over the cusp of the 9th house, the M. C., the
natal Sun, the Moon and lord of the Ascendant.
(21) From Lagna as well
as the 10th house prediction in a very general way can be made, and
the return from travel from the 7th house. From the entry of a
planet into the 4th house, the time of return of a traveler may also
be ascertained.
(22) If the Ascendant is
movable and if its lord occupies or aspects the Ascendant without the aspect of
malefic, and if benefics associate with or aspect the Ascendant, the person
will have a change of place. If malefic associate with or aspect the Ascendant,
there will be no change.
(23) In the case of a
query regarding someone who had already gone abroad, if the Ascendant at query
be fixed or common, and if it associates with benefics or is aspected or
occupied by benefics, the person who went abroad would have come back. If on
the other hand malefic associate with or aspect or occupy the Ascendant, the
person has not returned from abroad.
In
the following practical examples only a few of the above principles relevant to
the cases have been applied which readers may kindly note.
Example (1): A
query about the probable time of foreign visit was put at by a friend who was
in the administrative service and whose name had been earlier recommended for
training abroad. At the time of the query he was expecting to leave the country
in about two to three months according to the progress of his assignment. His
natal horoscope is as under:
Example (1) – Natal Chart
Date
of Birth 6-7-1926 at 4-30 a.m. Lat. 12degree20’N, Long. 76degree39’E.
Balance
of the Moon’s Dasa at birth: 5 years, 4 months and 2 days.
