प्रकृति से यह भूमि राशि है। कुछ व...िद्वानों के मत से यह अर्द्धजल राशि है। सम व स्थिर राषि है दशमभाव के संर्दभ में चर या स्थिर राशि से आशय, फल कार्य-व्यवसाय के स्थिर रहने या वार-वार परिवर्तन से होता है। दशमभाव में स्थिर राशि रहने से कार्य व्यवसाय जल्दी जल्दी बदलने की संभावना कम रहती है। इस राशि के संर्दभ में परिवर्तन की संभावना बहुत ही कम रहती है। क्योकि यह राशि काफी कम क्रियाशील, आरामपसन्द समझ-बूझ कर काम करने वाली है। विदित हो कि अधिक समझबूझ कर काम करने वाले लोग आसानी से कोई खतरा मोल नहीं लेते है। इस राशि का स्वभाव हठी वल्कि दुर्दांत हठी है, इस राशि से प्रभावित व्यक्ति, भाव विचारों, कार्यो में कदाचित ही परिवर्तन करना हैं बल्कि नहीं करता है। यह राशि असुरक्षा से बहुत दूर रहती है। तात्पर्य यह कि नपातुला सुरक्षित कार्य विचार क्षेत्र इनकी प्राथमिकता होता है। काफी हद तक यह स्वार्थी व अर्न्तमुखी होती है। यह राशि बहुत व्यावहारिक सासांरिक कार्यो में दक्ष तथा सांसारिक सुख सुविधाओं को प्राथमिकता देने वाली होती है।


शुक्र सौर्दय, प्रसाधन, साजसज्जा, कला, संगीत, साहित्य, नृत्य, नाट्य सुख सुविधा के साधन सांसारिक सुख विलास का कारक है। अतः इस राशि के मुख्य कार्य व्यवसाय, आर्किटेक्ट, डिजाइंनिग, कला, संगीत, साहित्य, सिनेमा, थियेटर, सौर्दय प्रसाधन, वस्त्र, प्लास्टिक, सिल्क, कलात्मक वस्तुऐं वाद्यायंत्र है। आधुनिक सर्न्दभ में टी0वी0, आडियों, वीडियों कैसेट, वेव डिजाइनिंग, चित्रकला, मूर्तिकला इत्यादि है।


यह भूमि राशि है, अतः कृषि, बागवानी, फूलॉ का व्यापार या फूल उगाना, चीनी, चावल अनाजों का व्यापार भी इस राशि के क्षेत्र में आता है।


कुण्डली में गुरू से शुभ संबध होने पर ज्वैलर, बैंकर, उच्चकोटि के उद्योगपति, वाहनों के डीलर जैसे कार्य भी अनुकूल पाये जाते है। बड़े-बड़े कृषि फार्म जंगलात का कार्य भी चन्द्र से संबध होने पर होता है।

मिथुन राशि- यह राशि नैसर्गिक कुण्डली के तृतीय स्थान, भ्रात-स्थान, पराक्रम स्थान की द्योतक है। मिथुन राशि का स्वामी बुध होता है। यह द्विस्वभाव राशि है, वायुतत्व है। राहु मिथुन में उच्च स्थान में होता है, केतु की यह नीच राशि है। शरीर के अंगों में इस राशि का कन्धों, बाहुओं, हाथों पर अधिकार है।


यह तोते के समान हरित वर्ण वाली पुरूष व विषम राशि है। ब...ुध के स्वामित्व वाली यह राशि सबसे अधिक, बुद्धिमान, बुद्धिजीवी राशि है।


क्योकि तृतीय भाव रेल बस इत्यादि से छोटी यात्राओं, सन्देश, पत्र, सूचना, टेलीफोन इत्यादि का सूचक है सो इस राशि का सूचना-संचार पर पूर्ण अधिकार है। सूचना संचार वाह्य जगत का कार्य है अतः यह राशि पूरी तरह बर्हिमुखी, अतिक्रियाशील तीक्ष्ण-बुद्धि है। यह अनेकताप्रिय, ग्रहणशील व स्वच्छेचारी है। इस राशि से प्रभावित व्यक्ति भाव को निरन्तर परिवर्तन चाहिये, एकरसता से यह ऊब जाते है बौद्धिक कार्यो को यह पूर्ण ध्यान से करने में रूचिशील है। नये स्थान, नयी वस्तुयें, नयी चीजें इन्हें विषेश आकर्षित करती है। तात्पर्य यह कि दशमभाव में यह राशि होने या दशमभाव से संबध होने पर कार्य व्यवसाय बदलने, कई कार्य एक साथ होने की विपुल संभावना रहती है। क्योंकि इस राशि को एकरसता पंसद नही है।

कर्क राशि- यह राशि नैसर्गिक कुण्डली के चतुर्थ स्थान में है। नैसर्गिक रूप से यह स्थान मातृस्थान, सुखस्थान कहा जाता है। चतुर्थभाव अंर्तमन और आत्मा का स्थान है। चतुर्थभाव व कर्क राशि से जातक की मानसिक प्रवृत्तियों का संचालन होता है। चतुर्थ भाव में केतु कपटी मन बुद्धि देता है, ऐसे जातकों को समझना दुष्कर है।

कर्क व चतुर्थभाव को जनता, जनसम्पर्क इत्यादि से जोड़ा जाता है। इस राशि के लिये जनसम्पर्क का कार्य बहुत ही अनुकूल है तथा कर्क राशि इसे बहुते ही प्रभावशाली ढ़ग से सम्पन्न करती है।

नाविक, नेवी, मर्चेन्टनेवी, आयात निर्यात रेस्टोरेन्ट (मंगल से संबध होने पर) पुरातत्ववेक्ता प्रकाशक, दूध उत्पादक या व्यापारी, अन्न के व्यापारी।


अन्य ग्रहों से संबध करने पर कुछ अन्य कार्य व्यवसाय भी रहते है जैसे, गुरू से संबध करने पर शिक्षक, मंगल से सबंध होने पर नर्स, बुध से सबंध करने पर लेखन, कम्प्यूटर क्षेत्र, शुक्र के संबध करने पर संगीत। नवम् या दशमभाव में यह राशि होने पर प्रापर्टी डीलर जैसे कार्य भी पाये गये है।
