Y-9- (a) Jupiter in quadrants, or

(b) Whilst Jupiter and Moon are in mutual quadrants, if one of them has a benefic aspect, the native will enjoy long life.

Y-10- For Taurus Ascendant. (a) Saturn on own classifications (sign, navamsa etc.) or (b) Jupiter in quadrant from Moon or Ascendant indicates longevity.

Y-11- Mercury in quadrants other than 4^th, without conjunction or aspect of a benefic, indicates long life.

Y-12- Lord of 5^th or 9^th house in own Vargas standing in the 3^rd, in company of a benefic also denotes longevity.

Y-13- (a) Moon in Ascendant with benefic aspect, whilst Sun is in 5 or 11^th house, or-

(b) Moon in Cancer-Ascendant whilst Sun is in 11^th house.

Y-14- Mars in Capricorn on the 28^th degree, which happens to be a trine in conjunction of a lord of quadrant or trine, indicates long life.

Y-15- (a) Powerful Jupiter in Ascendant or a trine or

(b) Jupiter in 8^th without conjunction of Ketu or Gulika, denotes long life.

Y-16- (a) Powerful Rahu in Ascendant;

(b) Rahu in 3, 6 or 11^th house

(c) Ketu in Cancer, indicates long life.

Y-17- (a) Rahu in Aries or Scorpio Ascendant with benefic aspect or

(b) Powerful Rahu in Gemini or Virgo Ascendant in company of Sun, indicates long life.

Y-18- Rahu placed in the constellation owned by Mercury or on the 5^th degree of Cancer, Sagittarius or Pisces, indicates long life.

Y-19- Similarly, long life is indicated if Rahu is in quadrants, in company of Venus or alone in the Ascendant of Libra or Pisces or conjunct or aspected by benefic or standing in the navamsa of Capricorn, Cancer or Libra.

Y-20- (a) Benefic aspect on lord of Ascendant, whilst Venus is with Full Moon or

(b) whilst one or More of the quadrants are occupied by benefic(s), the lord of Ascendant is with Rahu, long life is indicated.

Y-21- Whilst powerful Moon is enjoying the stay of a strong benefic in his quadrant, if there is also Sunapha and Anapha yogas, long life are certain.

Y-22- Powerful Venus and Moon conjointly stand in quadrant or trine whilst Rahu is conjunct with dispositor of Moon or Venus or conjunct with the significator of the house occupied by Moon or Venus-long life would result.

Y-23- A benefic in company of Full Moon always contributes towards longevity; with benefic in quadrants of such Moon, there will be still greater longevity.

Y-24- If Rahu is involved in Padma Yoga or Ankusha Yoga or standing on larger number of benefic Vargas whilst the lord of Ascendant, 3^rd and 8^th are also standing on larger number of benefic Vargas, such a native will live long.

Y-25- Rahu and the three benefic standing on benefic Vargas combined with fixed signs also indicates good longevity.

Y-26- (a) Planets, particularly benefic in quadrants and fixed signs contribute to greater longevity.

(b) Malefic yogas operating on a horoscope go to reduce longevity. Powerful Rahu increases longevity.

Eighth house lord in various houses

If the 8^th Lord happens to be placed in the Ascendant the native will be bereft of bodily pleasures, be detractor of Gods and Brahmins and will have wounds.

If the 8^th Lord is placed in the 2^nd House, the native will be devoid of physical vigour will possess little wealth and will not regain lost wealth.

In case the 8^th Lord is gone in the 3^rd House, the native will be devoid of fraternal happiness, be indolent, devoid of vigour and without servants.

When the 8^th Lord occupies the 4^th House, the native will be deprived of his mother and there can be no doubt in it that he will be devoid of a house, lands and, happiness and will be a betrayer of friends.

If the 8^th Lord happens to fall in the 5^th House, the native will be dull witted. He will have a few children and be long-lived and wealthy.

In case the 8^th Lord is gone in the 6^th House, the native will win over his opponents, will have a diseased body and in childhood he will fear danger through Snakes and water.

If the 8^th Lord is placed in the 7^th House, the native will have two wives and if he is in conjunction with a malefic planet also, there will certainly be loss in his trade.

Should the 8^th Lord occupy the 8^th House, the native will be long lived. If he (the 8^th Lord) is weak, longevity will be medium and the native will be a thief, be blameworthy himself and will blame others as well.

If the 8^th Lord is situated in the 9^th House, the native will be a betrayer of his religion and a heterodox; he will be the husband of a wicked wife and will steal other’s wealth.

If the 8^th Lord occupies the 10^th House, the native will not have paternal bliss will be a talebearer and be bereft of livelihood. If there is an aspect in the process from a benefic, then these evils will not mature.

Should the 8^th lord be placed in the 11^th House, the native will be devoid of wealth, be miserable in boyhood, but happy in later life, and if the 8^th lord be in conjunction with benefic, be long lived.

If the 8^th Lord be situated in the 12^th House, the native will squader his wealth on evil deeds, be short lived; more so if he is in conjunction with a malefic planet.
