The Planetary Patterns Part 2

Part 2

Another planetary pattern which makes the horoscope in question to represent a person designed for an independent occupation or a business career requires the Lagna, the Chandra-lagna to be at least normal in strength; the four planetary significators of the occupation, i.e., the Surya, the Buddha, the Shani an the Guru should also be at least normal in strength; the lords of the 1st and the 9th or the 1st and the 10th or the 1st and the 5th or the 5th and the 10th or the 9th and the 10th houses should be in Sambandhan in a good house. The 10th house plays its customary role here also. A good and strong 10th house indicates generally a successful occupation and mostly confers on the person concerned the right occupation at the right time. A weak 10th house on the other hand puts obstructions, tends to make the person concerned seek wrong avenues and results in waste of time and energy which sometimes is colossal and the damage beyond repair.

The Lagna and the Chandra-lagna are normal in strength; the three planetary significators of the occupation, i.e., the Buddha, the Shani and the Guru are normal in strength. The Surya (Sun), the fourth planetary insignificator of occupation: it should be very strong and placed in the 1st, 5th, 9th or the 10th house; it should be free from any Dosha. The concurrence of the factors described above constitute still another planetary combination which makes us decide in favour of an independent occupation or a business career for which the person concerned is designed. The 10th house, strong or weak, further clarifies the matter. A strong 10th house puts the person concerned on the right track at the right time without much loss of time. A weak 10th house entails delay and waste and calls for the much needed guidance of a competent Astrologer in order to help the person concerned to make his career.

We come across yet another planetary combination which indicates that the person concerned is designed for an independent occupation or a business career. To describe this combination we shall start with the Lagna and the Chandra-lagna which are normal in strength; this is the minimum qualification for the Lagna and the Chandra – lagna. The three planetary significators of the occupation, i.e., the Surya (Sun,) the Buddha, the Shani should be at least normal in strength. The fourth planetary insignificator of the occupation, i.e., the Guru (Jupiter) is very strong and is placed in the 1st, 4th, 9th or the 11th house. The 10th house is to be consulted and the facility with which the person will get to the right occupation is to be ascertained.

If the Lagna in any combination is weak and the Chandra-lagna is strong the weakness of the Lagna is compensated; again if the Chandra-lagna is weak and the Lagna is strong in any combination the deficiency is compensated and the combination remains unaltered and unaffected; it operates normally and with the same force. Again the deficiency caused by the weakness of one of the planetry significators of occupation is compensated if another of the planetary significators of occupation is strong; the combination remains unaltered and unaffected and it operates normally and with the same force.
