In the Navamsa chart the
Guru is not weak. It is conjoined by its dispositor. It owns the 7th
and the 10th houses and it occupies the 12th house; from
the Chandra-lagna in the Navamsa chart, however, the Guru rules the 8th
and the 11th houses. The 8th house from the Chandra-lagna
in the Navamsa chart is fully aspected by its lord and this relieves the Guru
of the Dosha the Guru contacts by its being the lord of the 8th
house. The Guru is aspected fully by the Shani, a Malefic, i.e., a Papa Graha.
The Shani rules in the Navamsa chart the 8th and the 9th
houses from the Lagna and the 9th and the 10th houses
from the Chandra-lagna. The 8th house from the Lagna in the Navamsa
chart is owned and fully aspected by the Shani. The Shani, therefore, does not
damage the Guru by its full aspect because of its ownership of the 8th
house from the Lagna in the Navamsa chart. The Shani on the other hand, becomes
an accidental Benefic by virtue of its ownership of the 9th house
from the Lagna and by virtue of its ownership of the 9th house and
the 10th house from the Chandra-lagna and the Shani’s full aspect on
the Guru in the Navamsa chart strengthens the Guru to a very great extent. The
Shani gets fortified by the Shukra who conjoins the Shani and exchanges houses
with the Chandra. The Guru is in the 12th house from the Chandra but
in the case of Guru the association with the 12th house is not a
serious Dosha.
We may conclude that the
Guru is strong.
The Shani is in Kanya and
in the 6th house from the Lagna. It is, therefore, not weak by sign
and house. The Shani rules the 10th and the 11th houses
from the Lagna. The Shani is in the 4th house from the Chandra and
the Shani rules the 8th and 9th houses from the Chandra.
The Shani is also in Sambandhan with the Shukra. This Sambandhan is between the
lords of the 2nd and the 10th houses. It is between the
lords of the 2nd and the 11th houses; again it is between
the lords of the 7th and the 11th houses. The Buddha, the
dispositor of the Shani, is in the 1st house and the Buddha is
conjoined by the exalted Surya. The Mangal does not aspect fully the Shani and
the Shani does not conjoin the Rahu.
In the Navamsa chart the
Shani is in its enemy’s house and the Shani occupies the Nakshatra of the
Chandra, its enemy. The dispositor of the Shani, i.e., the Chandra enjoys a
Parivertan Yoga with the Shukra. The Chandra by virtue of the Parivertan Yoga
is deemed to occupy its own house and thus to conjoin the Shani which gains in
strength by being fully aspected by its own dispositor. The Shani is in
Sambandhan with the Mangal; it means there is Sambandhan between the lords of
the 9th and the 11th houses; again it is between the
lords of the 6th and the 8th houses; also it is between
the lords of the 6th and the 9th houses.
The Shani, we may
conclude, is normal, i.e., neither strong nor weak. We shall now search the
horoscope for the requisite planetary patterns.
There are six Planets in
the 11th, 12th, 1st, 2nd and 3rd
houses from the Lagna.
Again there are six
Planets in the 10th, 11th, 12th, 1st
and the 3rd houses from the Chandra-lagna including the Chandra.
There is a strong Surya in
the 1st house, i.e., the lagna.
In the Navamsa chart there
are six planets in the 11th, 12th, 1st, 2nd
houses from the Lagna.
There are six Planets in
the 12th, 1st, 2nd and/or the 3rd
houses from the Chandra-lagna in the Navamsa chart.
Thus more than one
planetary combinations required to indicate an independent occupation or a
business career are present in this specific case.
