Partnerships for a Businessman Part 6

Part 6

We shall now examine the 10th house from the Lagna and the Chandra-lagna. The 10th house from the Lagna does not contain any Planet and it is not afflicted by a Malefic. It is ruled by the Shani which is in Kanya in the 6th house and which rules the 11th house from the Lagna also. The Shani, the ruler of the 10th and the 11th houses from the Lagna, is a Malefic but it is retrograde. A Malefic loses much of its vicious nature if it is retrograde. Secondly the Shani has affinity by its nature with the 10th house and its association with the 10th house is deemed favourable. Again in this case the Shani is associated with the three out of the four Upachaya houses by its occupation and ruler-ship. The Shani occupies the 6th house and rules the 10th house and 11th house. The 6th, the 10th and the 11th houses are the Upachaya houses. Also the Shani is fully aspected by the Shukra which is exalted. We may conclude that the 10th house is normal, i.e., it is neither weak nor strong.

The 10th house from the Chandra-lagna contains the Shukra which attains its exaltation therein. The Guru, its ruler, is in the 5th house from the Chandra-lagna. The Guru occupies its own Nakshata and it exchanges houses with the Shukra. The 10th house is fully aspected by the ruler of the 8th house and the 10th house is surrounded by Malefics on both the sides. It means that the 10th house from the Chandra-lagna is normal, i.e., it is neither weak nor strong.

In the Navamsa chart the 10th house from the Lagna does not certain any Malefic; it is not afflicted by any Malefic. The lord of the 10th house from the Lagna owns the 7th house also and occupies the 11th house; it is conjoined by its dispositor. It is aspected fully by the Shani; the Shani also is conjoined by the Shukra which enjoys a Parivertan Yoga with the Chandra. The Shani, by virtue of the Pariverdan Yoga of the Chandra and the Shukra may be deemed conjoined by its dispositor and consequently the Shani gains in strength. We may conclude that the 10th house from the Lagna in the Navamsa chart is normal.

In the Navamsa chart the 10th house from the Chandra-lagna does not contain any Malefic. The Mangal fully aspects the Shani, the lord of the 10th house and the Mangal is strong being in its own house; it strengthens the Shani by its full aspect. The 10th house from the Chandra-lagna in the Navamsa chart is strong.

To sum up we shall argue as under:

1. Lagna – strong

2. Chandra-lagna – strong

3. Surya – strong

4. Buddha – strong

5. Guru – strong

6. Shani – normal

7. Planetary combinations four in the birth chart and two in the Navamsa chart.

8. 10th house from the Lagna in the birth chart and in the Navamsa chart – normal.

9. 10th house from the Chandra-lagna in the birth chart- normal.

10. 10th house from the Chandra-lagna in the Navamsa chart – strong.

The person represented by the horoscope in question is designed for an independent occupation or a business career. As a businessman his grade is much above the normal. He will be very successful in his occupation and career and he will enjoy an excellent reputation.
