Vastu Purush Position
Before performing a homa, status of Lord Agni is checked. There are three status of Agni i.e. Swarg (heaven), Patal (inferno) and Dharti (earth). Likewise Vastu Dev’s availability is checked before construction of a building. In Vastu Ratan Pardeep it is clearly mention before performing Vastu Purush pooja status of Vastu Purush should be checked.

It says that if one is remainder then Vastu Purush is in heaven, two then inferno and zero then on earth.
Vastu Pooja
While performing the Vastu Pooja it is said that during the Leo, Virgo, Libra, the Pooja should be done in Naikritya kona (South-west direction), in Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn it should be Vavya kona (North-west direction), Aquarius, Pisces and Aeries in Ishan kona (North east direction), and Taurus, Gemini, Cancer in AGney kona (South-East) direction. The native is advised to perform the Vastu Pooja as told, however in some texts it is written that the Pooja should be started from North-east direction only. Before starting Pooja the name of Vastu dev should be written.
Rahu much Chakra
While digging foundation of the building take Rahu Mukh Chakra into consideration. During Leo and other signs Rahu’s face remains in ishankoona. The native is advised to start digging the foundation from the left direction because in Sun, Rahu’s face remains in this direction hence start digging from his back side (Leo, Virgo, Libra then North east direction, Scorpio, Capricorn, Sagittarius, then North-west, Aquarius, Pisces, Aeries in south-west and Taurus, Gemini and cancer in South-east direction). When the face in Northwest direction then start digging from south-east direction and so on.
