Store Room
As regards to the store room of the house it should be in South-West direction of the house so that the food material is stored properly. It is based on Magnetic and solar energy. The store room should be of the low height in comparison to other rooms of the house. A window should be installed in the East or West direction of the store Room. Ghee, oil, gas cylinder and other fiery elements should be stored in this direction. Never sleep in this room. North-East and North should be left empty or least stored.

Strong Room
To keep the valuable articles and ornaments North-East is considered the best direction because it is said to be the place of Kubera. The safe should be kept in the Southern side leaving space of one inch in the South East and South-West area. The back of the safe should be on the Southern side where as the door should open on the North side. The strong room should have one bi-part door made of wood. If the doors of the strong room are on the East or North side of the room, they are consider to be auspicious.
