Good Jupiter and Bad Mercury:
When influenced by the bad
Mercury, the good Jupiter becomes a cajoling, insinuating creature equipped
with seductive and violating nature. His ambitions are only realized through
cheating and infamy. In his opinion every method is lawful as long as it suits
his ends.
Being a low minded man of
business, his transactions and deeds olden conceal some ambiguous clauses which
enable him to put his customers under his mercy. His nature is so vile that he
does not deter from plotting intrigues against his near relatives. He attacks
his rivals on the sides using every method to ensure their defeat. He usually
begins by creating a foul atmosphere amidst them and sheen destroys every one
of them separately at ease.
His cunning is
inexhaustible. This is displayed to the best of his abilities in his love
affairs. He assumes the role of the affectionate and tender lover till he
conquers the female heart; then he shows his true colours acting against honour
and humanity.

Bad Jupiter and Bad Mercury:
First of all he is the
enemy of all religions and ethics. Being ignorant, foolish and blockheaded, he
always seeks for trouble in different ways. From childhood he shows lack of
common sense and displays a striking talent for obstinacy and disobedience.
Amongst his foul characteristic is his capacity for robbing family belongings
especially house utensils and other small materials. His parents are utterly
hopeless with his character. No method or means of behavior is useful with such
a bad type.
One of his overwhelming
desires is to interferer in others’ affairs in such a rude and impertinent way
that brings him blame and sorrow. He is very fond of nocturnal meetings where
disgraceful plots are hatched.

The good Martian Jupiter
is an ambitious man who seeks fortune and fame through military deeds.
Qualified generals, who display in battles a spirit of endeavor and courage,
fall under the control of these mounts. Once provoked, they will maintain fight
and refuse to accept any defeat until they achieve complete victory.
Being endowed with both
physical and mental powers, the good Martian Jupiter will never confess defeat
or failure. In fact, his failure will evoke his best talents and powers and let
him renew his efforts. He is usually recognized by his doughty appearance and
scrupulous adherence to truth. At the most critical moments, he never hesitates
to shoulder every responsibility. He defends his men of his best ability and
tries to get them out of trouble as soon as possible. He is always proud of his
struggles and merits. In love affairs he gives his heart its full due. He is
famous for his love affairs where his destiny leads him; but he never mixes
love with duty for which the utmost consideration is paid.

When the good Jupiter
accompanies the bad Mars, the good Jupiter will be willing to go the wrong way
easily. The justice and benevolence of the Jupiter will be developed into
impartiality and antipathy especially against relatives and poor people, a
magnificent example of this combination is found in the guardians over poor
helpless orphans. These guardians endeavor by every effort to rob and usurp
these orphans out of their money using foul and ambiguous means; and then spend
the money in bad vicious appetites.
Amongst the
characteristics of this type of mounts is his rude treatment for every lady who
contacts him. He tries to be acquainted with bad women or misguided wives and
husbands in order to skin them by scandalous threats. Scandalmongers and
slanderers who write anonymous letters to husbands and parents defaming their
wives or daughters and controlled by these two mounts.
