2.4.1
Planetary Council: It is universally accepted that various
planets represent the following;
i)
Sun-
King or some high dignitary/ authority, father or physician.
ii)
Moon-
Queen, female authority/ wife of some high authority or mother.
iii)
Mars-
Commander, army/ police/ security/ fire officer, siblings or surgeon.
iv)
Mercury- Crown prince, favourite of authorities, or a scholar.
v)
Jupiter- Minister, secretaries, business-men, advisors, Saints.
vi)
Venus- Minister, wife, females, business-men.
vii)
Saturn- Servants, old/ infirm person, lower level men like
clerks etc.
viii)
Rahu-
Chandaal/ malechha or foreigners.
ix)
Ketu-
Sikhs, outcaste etc.

Natural Friendship: As per Bhuvan Deepika, Sloka 15 to 17, a
planet, which by its influence increases the original results of another planet
is called its friend. A planet which opposes or reduces the results of another
planet is called its enemy; and those which does not affect the other is
neutral.

Nature of Planets:
i)
Jupiter, Venus, unafflicted Mercury and waxing Moon are natural benefic.
ii)
Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu, afflicted Mercury and waning Moon are natural
malefics.
iii)
Sun, Saturn & Rahu are separative planets.
iv)
Sun, Saturn & Rahu are separative planets.
v)
Moon, Mars, Venus & Rahu are mobile, Sun, Jupiter & Saturn are fixed
and Mercury is dual in nature.
vi)
Planets owning houses other than 3, 6, 8 & 12 are functional benefic.
vii)
Planets owning houses 3, 6, 8 & 12 are functional malefic.
viii) If
there is a Mooltrikone sign in 8th,
6th or 12th house, its lord will be the most malefic
planet (MMP) for that lagna in that order. If none of these houses has any Mooltrikone sign, then for that lagna
(Gemini), Ketu will be the most malefic planet. For detail, see table below.

Pushkar-Amsha or Amrit Ghati; Any planet if placed in Pushkaramsha/ Amritghati is at a
sensitive point in the natal/ transit chart, where it will give very auspicious
results, even if he is 8th lord or a Chhidra planet. These are like life giving nectar for the planet
and the bhava concerned. For example, in transit if 6th or 8th
lord are in Pushkaramsha, the native
could be advised to take risky decisions like undergoing operation or change of
job/ business. For fiery signs, 7th & 9th Navamsha;
for earthy signs, 3rd & 5th Navamsha; for airy signs,
6th & 8th Navamsha; and for watery signs, 1st
& 3rd Navamsha are Pushkaramsha.
