Chapter 17
Dr. Shanker Adawal
Venus Conjunct Mars
If Venus is conjunct Mars, the person thrives on passion. He is enthusiastic, excited and fervent in all his endeavors. He abhors boredom, complacency and mediocrity. He is the ultimate romantic and his greatest concern is his love life. In this realm, he will experience both the best and worst of cupid’s arrow. He may obtain the most beautiful, sensuous and artistic lovers but there will certainly be difficulties to endure and consequences to bear. The person is drive by his desire nature, and has little understanding of how to distinguish love from physical attraction. He immerses himself in relationships too quickly and compulsively with little awareness of the practicality of the situation. If the love partner satisfies the person’s craving for beauty, sexual ecstasy and emotional closeness, he may immediately declare his undying love. He may even propose marriage to one he barely knows. The person is charming, magnetic, and vibrant. He fascinates others with ease, and his personality and charisma increase with each passing year. The person is creative, action-oriented and potentially artistic. He is adventurous and fun-loving. He may also be impatient, impulsive and very demanding. In attempts to fulfill his intense pleasure desires, he may be selfish or blatantly use members of the opposite sex. He relishes his deeply emotional response to life, yet occasionally suffers terribly on account of it. Being at the mercy of his passions, he has to endure the most consuming crushes and infatuation. Sometimes his affections are required, sometimes not.
Since Venus rules love and is conjunct Mars, the marriage partner is likely to be fiery, aggressive, physical and/or arrogant. He or she may also be sexy, sensual and red headed. There will be arguments and fighting in the love life and the person may have a profound love hate relationship with the spouse. The person is strong, energetic, and physically fit. His blood is pure and he excels in sports. He is direct and expressive.
Venus Opposite Mars
If Venus is opposite Mars, the person has difficulties in relationships. His love life is significantly influenced by early childhood years, during which he witnessed too much parental discord. As a result, he equates friction and competitiveness with love and passion. Men with hard Venus-Mars aspects are prone to harsh, aggressive, insensitive behaviour while women with the aspect are more likely to be victimized by domineering, selfish men. There is, in certain of these cases, a danger of attracting cruelty or violence from the spouse or partner. Men with his aspect should resist the temptation to use females for strictly carnal pleasure. The person is erotic and lustful. His passions and affections are too strong, and he may marry early for purely sexual reasons. Unless he is cautious, he is likely to wind up with a partner of very little compatibility or common interest. The person may experience perpetual arguments, dissension and resistance in his marriage. He lives to satisfy romantic cravings and must beware of creating love hate relationship. The person hates boredom and wants to live a passionate, profound existence. There is a tendency towards impatience, impulsiveness and forceful behaviour. The person is stubborn and may try hard to change his loved ones.
Mars Conjunct Jupiter
If Mars is conjunct Jupiter, the person is ambitious and motivated. He is the most energetic of individuals. Is blood is strong and he is wonderfully confident. The person has a powerful presence and will be honored and respected in a big way. The person immerse himself fully in all endeavors and rarely gives up or quits. He is courageous, adventurous and fun loving. He is entirely action oriented. The health is good and the person is productive. He is a natural leader.
