The Major, sub and sub periods and the malefic transits of Mars cause accidents, disputes, litigation, penal action etc. The malefic effects can be obviated by performing in advance the Astral Spiritual remedies before the advent of the feared malefic period.
For a minimum of seven days from the full moon day daily before Sun rise Sri Durga Saptasathi should be read performing Pooja to Goddess Durga. Red flowers should be used for pooja (worship and offering). If red flowers are not available red Vermillion (Kumkum or Sindhoor) mixed with rice can be used, “Gudanna’ i.e. cooked rice mixed with jiggery should be offered to the Goddess as a sacrifice. On the seventh day three red blouse pieces be given to three women.
In all languages Sri Durga Saptasathi is available as small book lets. If the native is not a literate or cannot pronounce the words clearly, he or she may use a tape record to play the audio tape of Sri Durga Saptasathi, which are sold everywhere (near the temples).

Kumaram sakti-hastam ca mangalam pranamamy aham

Daranee garbha sambootam vidyut-kahntee sama-prabam koomahram shaktee hastam-cha mangalam prana-mam mya-ham.
I offer my obesiances to Sri Mangal, god of the planet Mars, who was born from the womb of the earth goddess. His brilliant efflugence is like that of lightning, and he appears as a youth carrying a spear in his hand.
Utility of Astral Gemstones
Everybody has the curiosity whether the gemstones have any effect on human being or not. Of course precious stones are having malefic and benevolent effect. Suggestions propounded in the old texts and scripts.
