Complexion of a hue resembling Durva grass, clear voice, dry body constitution, royal bearing, leader among men with a sense of humour, one who enjoys causing loss and destruction to others, disposition is a blend of Vata, Pitha and Kapha, brave and glorious and learned: such is the characteristic of Mercury.
Jayadeva: Ancient writers have specially said: Drishtatvaksaaranaaddachyaam sthoolodhwarjaha sthoolanakhoushtthadantaha. Dry skin, coarse hair, big teeth and nose.
