Dashamastho yadaa bhaumaha shatrukshetre sthitasthada. Bhiyate tasya baalasya pita sheegram na sanshayaha. If Mars is in the Tenth Place from the ascendant or from the Moon, the person is brave, cruel as a tribal, one who lives away from his land of birth, and keeps the company of low born people. If Mars is in a hostile influence the father dies early.

Disciplined, poor, one who works for the benefit of his tribe, beloved of women, frail as an old man, a farmer who earns his living from the soil, one who respects Brahmins, sages and the elderly, a man of medium height.
Parashar: Dhanavyayam cha dashame dhanalaabham kukarma cha. He gets wealth but squanders it. He does bad deeds.
Vasishtha: Bhaumaha kila karmasanstho kuryaatraram bahukukarmaaratam kuputram. He is ill behaved and his sons are not decent.
Gopal Ratnakar: He works for the welfare of his people, is a leader, uses his wealth wisely, is a head of a temple trust.
Gholap: He has many vehicles, a good house, a sharp intellect. He is without enemies, is a poet and a talented artist.
Hillajaatak: vatsare shada dhike vimshatibhihi shastrabheetimuktu dashamasthaha. There is fear of weapons at the age of 23.
Mahesh: It is the same as Brihadyavanajaatak.
Yavanmath: he is wealthy, virtuous, respected, kind and generous. He can be a good land owner.
Paaschaatya Math (Western Thought): He is brave, arrogant, over anxious and greedy. He can be a teller in a bank. He excels in business and trade. But his luck is such that there are constant ups and downs. If Mars is auspicious the person is brave and courageous and sees a mix of happiness and grief. There is no stability in his life.
