plot having roads on east, west, and south is good for business purposes,
however the main door should be on the southern side.
20. A
plot having roads on north, west, and south, with slope towards west, more
space in the east, and door on the west is also good.
21.
Plots having roads on two adjacent sides is better as compared to a plot which
has roads on opposite sides, however keep main entrance on one side which is
auspicious road and open space accordingly e.g.:-

The eastern entrance is good, the wishes of the inmates will be fulfilled,
western side entrance will ensure success in all fields, northern side entrance
ensures prosperity, and honour to the inmates. The southern side entrance is
not considered good, it causes loss of wealth, Gandharva worshipping is
recommended.
23. A
plot having road on one side only, is a common feature now a days. In such
cases plots with roads on east or north, are considered more auspicious.
24. It
is better to go in for sites with more than one road, and those with roads in
the north and east are the best.
25. If
there is a running nallah, stream, or river in the north side with the flow of
water from west to east, is ideal as it will bring in prosperity and good
results.

Plots with rounded off corners in the north-east is not good but those with
south-east corner rounded off may be used with some limitations.
27.
Tall trees, mountains, high rising buildings should not be in the east and
north, these may be in south or west.
28.
The area of opening i.e. doors/ windows etc should be more in the east and
north than south and west.

There are twelve zodiac signs, the height of rooms should be minimum twelve
feet.

Normally people go in for corner plots in order to get more open space, the
plots in the north east corner are the best, these give health and prosperity,
others corner plots have their limitations.

The size of the rooms depends on one’s own requirement, the drawing, dinning,
and bed room sizes may be in as: 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 16, 17, 21, 22, 26 to 29
feet, at least one side out of length or breadth is suggested, e.g. 11ft by 16
ft. The sizes of 5, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 23 to 25 feet are to be
avoided being inauspicious.

Normally the rooms and verandas on east and north side of the house are kept
smaller or equal in size to the rooms of south and west directions.

The main bedroom may be in south-west side of the building, the dressing table
to be kept in east or north in the room. The attached toilet is more suitable in
north-west, or south- east side.
34.
The bathroom is best in the east direction. The window should be slightly
higher then other windows, the purpose is to avoid direct Sun rays should not
fell on the body when bathing. The north side is an alternative for bath room.
35.
The children room is ideal in the west or north direction. The should kept
their desk in east or north and face east while studying. The green shade on
the lamp is recommended for enhancing intelligence.
36.
The guest rooms are recommended in the north-west direction.
