Shri
Ganesh reminds me of two popular stories and they have a meaning – must tell:
The
first one being that when his parents ( Shiva & Parwati ) asked both his
sons ( Ganesh & Kartikey ) to take a round of the world and come .
While
Kartikey set out to do that Ganeshji took a round of his parents and announced
that he had done it.
MORAL:
EACH ONE HAS A WORLD OF HIS OWN AS FOR GANASHJI IT WAS HIS PARENTS & FOR
KARTIKEY IT WAS THE GEOGRAPHIC MATERIAL WORLD.
Define
your world and focus on that – the other person’s world cannot be yours.
The
second story that comes to my mind is that once Shri Ganesh was invited by
KUBER (GOD OF WEALTH) for having food & as much --. Ganeshji had all that
Kuber could serve and realizing that he was not dealing with an ordinary person
Kuber asked for forgiveness for his tall claim. IT IS THEN GENASHJI said that I
sit with Shiva because he has OUTGROWN hunger and fear . The moral is that by
hoarding (as done by Kuber ) one does not get rich ( it will get exhausted )
but the basic thins is TO OUTGROW your HUNGER & FEARS ( that is depicted by
Lord Shiva where Shri Ganesh sits along ).
Shri
Ganash is FLANKED with his two wife’s – RIDHI & SIDHI they symbolize WEALTH
& WISDOM . Wealth without WISDOM is not appropriate and therefore both
should be embodied for handling hurdles and moving towards real prosperity.
Happy
Ganesh Chaturthi and this day has a lot of energy astrologically so please pray
to that one source for a few seconds but alone – tell him not YOUR worries but
ask for strength to face the situations love affectionately yours shanker
